They appear to have them in some of their store, as I phoned their main help line.

But only on O2 and Voda phone.

Does any one know if any (UK) shops are doing them on Orange?

Apparently Orange are desperate to get the 6600 ready for the 13 Nov as this is they day they are launching thier "Video Messaging" services. But even the nice person at Customer Services didn't think they would be ready.🙄

i thought Orange had already lauched the Videomessaging service ?

Web site for it is up and running and i have a P900 on orange

Darren

Its not on Orange yet, although the guy in carphone warehouse went to check the stock list and seemed shocked when there were no orange 6600 stock as there was the other day...

another guy in another Orange shop reckoned it wouldnt be out now until after Christmas - the usual then....

I got mine from phones4U in Bristol on Monday 10th Nov 6pm, only available on 02 and Vodaphone at the moment. I got mine on O2 and it cost 149 Will post pics and more info tonight when I am home

Problem with the sales guys in the shops is they genuinely dont know when stock is due. So you'll find the ywill regularly say its not due for quite a while, in the hope you dont go looking elsewhere for the phone.

I have ordered mine through one stop phone shop but I have no idea when it will turn up?

did they tell you a date?

They originally told me First 2 weeks...

Now there saying either today or Monday but im not holding my breath

yeah I think the guy originally said to me in the next few days, then another guy there I rang said in the next couple of weeks, it will happen when it happens I guess.....

i finally went with orange, cause it seemed much better deal. They told me end of next week, they will probably have it.....
So fingers crossed😉

If you want an honest delivery date avoid One Stop Phone SHop who will tell you whatever they feel like telling you. Truth is, they know as much as we do. With Orange handsets, Orange Direct will have stock first, followed by retailers with good links to them, www.smalltalk.co.uk and www.mobileshop.com are usually one of the first two to get stock. CPW usually follow within a week, with OSPS around the same. Obviously thats just an educated guess going on the last few Orange releases and not concrete information.

Hope Orange don't cripple the 6600's software. 😉 I'm loving my Vanilla one but I wish I had access to Orange's brilliant new WAP Portal... 😞 Had it on my Treo, everything else pales in comparision.

I just ordered mine from Carphonewarehouse yesterday on Voda. They wanted to charge me 240, but after i threatened to ask for my PAC number they reduced the price to 120 and gave me half price line rental for half of the year.

Not at all bad. Should be here on friday according to the bloke there. Just as long as it doesn't come with one of those damn voda live logos. If it does i will send it back and get o2
