6600... the worst photo quality among 3650/6600/7650

how many 6600's u tested. i guess there is something wrong with the one u have. mine is much much better. and the 3650, is so amazing, dunnno what to say. wht firmware is ur 3650? ? ?

this photos are taken yesterday, I asked for some guy for his 6600.

if you look at the marlboro sign my photo seems more blurry, but check the left side mine is sharper. and the middle... same at both pictures...

you think that there is a problem with my phone, and now I wonder that if it can be fixed or not ?

I had a 7650 for over a year and have several thousand photsoa on my hard drive from it.

I have had my 6600 from October and have over a thousand pictures from that on my pc as well.

The 6600 camera is and has been fantastic. The quality is brilliant.

I always found the 7650 produced pictures that had a "fish eye" lense type appearance, ie slightly domed image and the cnetre was sharp and the outside of the photo was slightly fuzzy.

The 6600 has been a fantastic camera and the images have been sharp and clear no matter what.

I am at work and dont have any pictures to compare, also i no longer own a 7650 anymore.

goruntu fazla bulanik senin telefonda. belki toz falan girmis olabilir, ya da lens kirlenmis olabilir.

maybe your lens is dirty, try to clean it..

Today, I went to the nokia service and have my lens cleaned up. the result is the same...

Must admit, the clarity on the 3650 is too nice. My 6600 takes pics exactly like f205's, quite blurry with no sharpness at all. Its very apprent when you scan a newspaper or a book, theres no focus on the lettering at all.

f205, the 2nd pictures taken with the borowe 6600 are much sharper. How can this be i wonder?
is it variations in factory or materias, or assembly? It cant be software can it???

I have absolutely no idea, but the thing is even if the second 6600 is sharper, 3650 beats them up easly. what I mean is the second 6600 is slightly better than mine, then again still bad photo quality compared to 3650...

The service told me that, they never get any compain about 6600's lens, quality or so...

I know, when I first got this phone I felt the sameway... until I compared the exact frame shot by two different phones...

I guess we might call this, "nokia lovely brainwash" 😊

Could this image issue be related to where the 6600 was manufacturered? E.g Finland/Nokia etc.

I'm quite interested because I compared my 6600 to a friends and in normal quality ours is both the same, but in high quality mode his is a tad sharper and it is visibly noticeable.

i dont know why the pictures here doesnt load but... i can tell u that my 6600 take some fantastic pictures, i compare it with a 7650 and a 3650, and both phones cant compare with 6600... atleast my 6600 take fantastic photos... maybe your phone got the lens broken or something.... maybe u have to contact nokia.

here's my nokia 6600 pictures just taken a second ago.. the first picture was taken at standard-high res(28kb). the second at standard-normal res. (19kb)..

can you make coments?... if ther is probs?.

I think its awful and puts a load of dots over the screen, would be interesting to see some pictures that posters in this thread have taken on night vision

I refuse to believe that people are happy with the quality of night vision because its awful. 3 of my mates have this phone and they all do the same.

first of all, i cant believe the pic quality of the 3650. was that for real? that was one of the best quality pics ive seen since my p800.

From my experienced 6600 is better than 7650.. because of that fish eye thing mentioned before... but i was expecting really 6600 to have a better or the best capture than any other nokia cam phones...

About the night vision capture... ive also notices there are a lot of dots that can bee seen unlike the 7650...

but if ur in night vision mode and your in a really dark place... or relly dim, that the time those dots a apear..but if ur if a well lighted place, the dots wont come out... i think it has something to do with the light input to the lens of the cam...it strains the camera or something that it produces those white dots...

i could say 7650's night vision is better than the 6600... i duno if its software related or something.. i do hope so...coz ill be really disapointed if its relly the phones performance...

Yeah me too... But I'm sure that phone has another problem that will make us all miss our 6600s, just like I missed my 3650 after getting my 6600...

The 3650's pic is 75+KB while the 6600's pic is 40+KB... this is not an apple to apple comparison. (Yah... we all know the standard out-of-the-box camera SW sux!!!)

Maybe you should try using another camera SW for the 6600 and see if there is any difference for a 70+KB jpg image taken.

The poster doesn't have much technical background on Symbian OS but it wouldn't surprise me if his info on p900's and 6600's camera is true.

are you sure?? are they same quality??? Because their kb are different one is 74 kb the other one is 45kb. I am talking about the first photos.compare about 3650 6600 7650
