Confusing typo error:
In the section "How do I find out what my IMEI numbers is or my Firmware Version?"
It says:
To find out which version of firmware your phone is using you type the following at the mail screen: *#0000#
Shouldn't "mail" be "main" ?
In "Is Opera web browser available for the 7650?"
typo error:
"have larger mempry capacities or memory cards"
In "How do I change my operator logo?"
typo error:
"Note SeleQ V.1.2i and above has an option of chaning your operator logo from within the program"
...And to think, I offered J2theIzzo my services of proof reading before it went live ! :roll:

Merlin, thanks for the offer, but I am merely typing from the FAQ, so any errors made are either down to tiredness or just plain stupidity.
I will correct all error's when I get a chance, I think getting the main content is the most important thing first.
Actually keep em coming (sorry Izzo), an extra pair of eyes is good, but perhaps PM them to me or send via e-mail to [email protected]

Ahh ... those bleary eyes of fatigue - putting this sort of this sort of thing together can be a pain in the neck. Anyway, good work.
Suggestion - It would really help if there was a keyword search on just the FAQs section (perhaps you could put it under an advance FAQ Search feature).

There is a keyword search already in the faq, look at the bottom of the page (I think) there is a search box. 😃
When entering the information I have to add keywords that will show up in the search.

In the support section there is currently a search option, this will search just the faq database. I'll be inlcuding this in an advanced search page thanks to erhumm...

Just want to say hats of to all FAQ contributors, that's really something of value you're producing.
Can I make one point on the IR vs. BL question. Well, the answer in the FAQ comes out with BL winning more or less, but the comparison is a bit on the general side. The question does include "for the 7650" though, and the situation might be less decisive.
ie. a trip to the modem question shows up IR as being only of use there.
Also the post-cum-rant ref. http//www.allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4236
casts some reliability doubts on BL.
Basically IR is still more common, but BL is better technically. So is it not better to say BL for the power-user, IR for the casual one?

Very good point, the FAQ is a sort of rolling project and all opinions are very helpful. I will add your comments in due course.

Can i share my computers internet connection with my nokia 7650 trough bluetooth/infrared?

you will see that many of the user have sucideed in this (Well,with some minor glitches).It is stated by nokia that this kind of operation is not supported in the DUN profile,or in any other profile.It seems that we have little newbor miracle here 😊
