App. closed Ncnlist ERROR?

Think of what you have recently installed or uninstalled that effects in any way the messaging part of the phone?

Facewave? I've had reports that the standard download version can cause a problem...

I've had this error message today. Only once so far. I had installed some Psiloc apps, see if they worked or not. World clock, extended profiles and task manager. I deleted World CLock, and Task Manager kept closing, so I deleted that too. Its after that when I received the error message. Like I say, only once so far. Will have to see how it goes.

I think it may be photographer doing this.
At first I thought it was ActiveDesk.
But I can replicate the problem when I install photographer and it goes away after an uninstall.

I didnt have photographer installed when I encountered this problem. I have reset my phone so hopefully the problem will not occur again. Going to be very choosy about the s/w i put on it now too. Having problems with photographer too, but different to this.

I have had the same error several times but not consistently. I have also had problems with psint ssaver.
I noticed after the Ncnlist had closed when I received a new txt message the banner notification across the bottom of the screen didn't come up.

I have the same error, I do have 'Where Am I' and 'Extended Profiles' installed.

Maybe one of those is the problem, the weird thing is : I had them both installed and it worked before. The problem comes up when a SMS is received.

The problem is a software issue & have nothing 2 do with any installed app !!
& the main cause is changing the sms ringing tone,, & will be fixed in the upcoming sw update !!

Where do we get the update from when it comes out?

think that there is connection with psiloc extended profiles
uninstalled it and the problem solves

I get the error message almosr everytime i recieve an sms. I triend formatting my phone and even have the latest 5.27 firmware! Please help.

Just put your use full data into your pc not back up but other way.
Sycn your Contacts, and use mmc reader for reading the card and copy to computer.
then format your phone and mmc both.(make backup only for safety)
now just put the card into mmc reader put the folder except the hidden once .i.e System etc.Put only Pictures, Sound, Video
and then insert your card and install the application one by one.
then u won't get the error.
i do this it will take time but the error will gone.

I've got a Nokia 7610 and happened the same to me, then I uninstalled Zipman and everything worked fine again. Maybe this happens to you too.

I have not even a single application of Wildplam and Psiloc. still i was facing the problem

is there any freeware application like photographer? which has masks, can zoom upto 2500% etc? if yes where can i find it?
can i extract .zip files on my phone? any application that can do the work of winzip on my phone?

Well I don't think that there is a application like Photographer is Freeware.
and abt the ZIP Files u have to get WILDPLAM ZIPMAN it can do lot of fuction send zip to computer, e-mail etc and many more.

and is zipman free? where do i get it? cud u please post the link?

i'm currently having a major problem with the zipman app. i downloaded it from my symbian & purchased the full version via the txt msg option. but now all i can get is a message saying "sending some premium rate messages failed. try again?"

i've tried uninstalling the app (& the LM PRO app that comes with it) & re-installing it but i keep gatting the same message.

does anyone have any ideas what the problem is or have a solution?

i've contacted wildpalm about my problem &they've said it is a software issue. they are currently working on a fix.

I had the same error. I first uninstalled "Smart Profiles" (not Psiloc one) then format my phone.

Then there was no more errors.

But I'm still planning to get a 4.0427.4 firmware update though ..

these days i am getting that error quite alot i have also noticed that when this error occurs n i receive a meesage it does not show on the screen, there is only the envelope that is there otherwise no notification!

Yea. If you're getting the Ncnlist error, the phone can't vibrate or produce the incoming sms sound when you receive a text message!

What's the cause ... I'm still trying to find out.

PS: I'm not getting the errors anymore since I formatted. But it would be nice to know the cause, so we can avoid it next time without formatting ... 😉

I think the only alternate to get off this error is Formatting.
Twice i get this error and i format my phone.
Even i would be very glad if i found the problem why this error happend and wht is the solution?

I have the same dilemma, when ever a message has arrived (usually a SMS message, havent kept track what kind of content arrives to my phone, *.sis or SMS) that same NcnList freaky comes around.

I found a text file (log or sthng) on my phone, it states as follows ;

StarterMonLog.txt

DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS
NcnList.exe exit
d1=0,100,1,1
d2=538046,9584640
DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS
NcnList.exe exit
d1=0,100,1,1
d2=53####,########

SO the DD is the day, MM is the month, YYYY is the year, HH hour, MM minutes, SS seconds.

BUT there is not a single mention about what is that NcnList.exe that pops up ower there. My OS version is :
V 5.27.0
28-06-04
NHL-10

Does anybody have any extra info what is that NcnList.exe that usually terminates when a SMS arrives (?). I think it crahses, but I have never even seen it on TaskSpy to be running, so it must be a program that activates when a SMS is received. Hey, usually, when I get that error tone as this "App. closed NcnList.exe" note pops up, the ring-tone for a SMS does not play. Instead of it I get only this error-tone. Like the sound you get when you try to remove an item from your phone which you can not remove.

Any further info would be appreciated. I have run the F-Secure for 6600, but wihtout latest updates, on my celly but no sh*t was found. I Have had alot of different Themes installed!
