GPRS problems with new firmware, is it just me?

The 1.98.5.2 firmwares are still available on Sendo's website.

Also thanks for the new firmware. I didn't got it till now since i have my sendo given to my dealer to repair it. They take locally care of it. Good dealer 😊 Now some questions:

1. Is it possible to get more updates on the firmware to small bugs which will be found in the current firmware? I will help to find them. I know already one or two glitches in the new features.
2. Is it possible to get a release of the theme editor? We all wanted to make our own themes so badly. Or is hacking our last approach?
3. Is it possible to improve the firmware a little bit with help of outstanding developers? (I don't think so, but we can ask)

What would be very cool for us here? Sendo please open up some source and help us to improve the firmware. The Sendo X is very cool and it would be cooler to make it an open source handy 😊 Yes, i know, Serie 60 is licensed and sources aren't avaible to individuals...

Just to say that all gprs worked perfectly. 😊
Now i'll use this phone till the end of the year (planning on grabbing an nokia n70 😃 )

confirmed, using the portuguese firmware, the gprs bug is fixed 😊

I would like to thank all the sendo devs that managed to fix this bug after their company is gone - this is GREAT tech support and dedication! thanks again :icon14:

Andy is still working on the German update, but others will certainly work on your phone. Just pick one which contains German as a language.

Use any of the others then - I would recommend the French distribution package 😊

This post is to report a bug in firmware (i'm using portugues, don't know if it's present in others.
When the phone is locked and in screensaver and recieve a call the phone become unlocked (has in previous lock bug). :frown:
Can you test with other packages?

To clarify a little better:
it doesn't need to be in screensaver, just locked.
the call is a missed call, while ringing it is unlocked and never turn the lock on when ring stop.
In this mode you can operate now! and all the links but can't open menu or use the top key (shut down, profiles) and the backlight not always works.
Only thing is to remove battery or wait until it locks again. Same as previous unlock bug.
I'm just reporting this in hope that other realeses are good becuse i don't believe this will get fixed 😞 (not blaming any (ex)sendo workers who done a very good job for us)

You may try as a workaround the autolock tool which is free and works like a charm 😊

This is just to lock the keypad or the phone?
If you're not using the portuguese version, can you test this problem?

My phone is currently at the repair service (microphone problem -> vodafone warrenty 😊 ), when i got it back today i will try it out.

The Autolock is for locking keypad not the phone with security.

Expansys version works OK.

Situation:
Keypad locked->phone is ringing (keypad unlocked)->missed call (keypad back locked)

or

Keypad locked->pone is ringing (keypad unlocked)->answer->after call (keypad back locked)

Maybe you haven't defined a code for phone lock.

It works as it should for me. I can answer / reject a call when it comes in (and use the phone while that call is active) - the second the call is ended the phone returns to being locked.

And if you missed the call?

Ok, i tested and if i answer the call, after hang up it locks again
