Ok, don't know what is happening :con?
Now the test i made all locked the phone back, with or without screensaver.
So now i don't have a way to recreate the problem
GPRS problems with new firmware, is it just me?
Ahh, that's the best sort of bug - the one you can't recreate properly 😉
Modry Zub wrote:Where can i find it? This is first time, i use this function...
Settings -> security.
Same place where you set the pin code.
Ok, now the problem happened again.
Only thing that changed, the profile, before was silent now was normal.
New test with silent profile again and happened again, even after reboot.
grrrr 😡
After much work to prove myself that i'm not getting insane, i finally got it.
Ther IS a difference between locking via top button->lock phone, and autolock (set in settings->security)
If i lock manually it works, if autolock don't.
What a bastard bug!
Try that, stu.
Can anyone with a different firmware try that?
Let the phone autolock then miss a call. In mine it unlock and have strange behavior.
Well, I'm trying to find that out, but when I want to autolock it ask for a lock code. Now I've never used this option before so I tried 0000. But then it gives an error message. No matter what code I come up with, it won't work...
In the item below in that menu tehere is a field for givin the lock code.
W00ps...silly me... 🙄 But still, when it wants to verify the new code it gives the same error message. Even when it takes the new code for the first time...

I think that the default code is 12345. Try that.
Oh that's it. It must have 5 numbers.
Thanks Elp, figured it out. When I want to autolock the code is 12345. But when I want to change the code, the default (12345) is suddenly changed in the lock code of my simcard which is also a(nother) five digit code. So then, when I change the autolock code it only takes the simcard lock code. If I then choose a new code, it agrees for the first time, but gives an error message the second (verified) time...Strange...
But to answer your question Nightwisher, mine doesn't give any probs with autolock on, then miss a call and then view it. I have the latest fw installed, that is the European BE 1.198.8.2 (updated).
The lock code has nothing to do with sim code (pin).
The lock code can be any code but must have 5 digits.
You can have sim code and phone code at the boot of the phone.
Yeah, I've noticed. But it is strange that I can't change the lock code right? Anyway;

Yes but it have to be the phone to autolock itself. If you lock it manually it works.
Which fw are you running?
The last one, portuguese.
The symptoms are similar tho the phone lock with screensaver with the previous firmware
Ok, I get it. Maybe if there's someone else with the same fw version who can test this?

Chris[/QUOTEUpdate to the latest (1.198.9.2) firmware. From your current firmware version, I presume you have an Expansys UK handset, so use the Expansys firmware update (although it doesn't really matter which one you choose, so if you want different language support, pick another one). This should fix the issues you're seeing.

ALL the 1.198.8.2 firmwares available from http://www.sendosmartphones.com are unlocked, meaning they will work on any Sendo X handset. The only decission about which one you choose relates to what langauges you'd like within your phone.

Ok thanks ! I'll try and see what happens 😎
For my fellow mexicans to config the GPRS you can go to http://www.telcel.com/gsm/equipos/equipo_menu.htm? and choose to see the Nokia 6600 there you can see a tag named "Configuracin de Equipo" there are manual of how to config GPRS CSD HCSD MMS and other stuff about the phone, since it use Symbian series 60 too it will be very usefull for you and have the GPRS working fine.
Hey, i'm trying to downgrade my firmware but it's not working. Has anyone been able to downgrade successfully?
