ei, nice job!
i meant the operator logo, and definitly not the operator itself! dang i hate globe!!!
I read trough ever post-relating base on “Operator logo” on how to configure it manually illustrated below.
My network provider is T-Mobile UK and my location for (bmp) on my Nokia 7650 will be C:\system\Apps\Phone\Oplogo\ 234_30_0.bmp (which I created) then I power off my phone (I’m using the T-Mobile.jpg which is posted on this Form) .May any expert info me where, what I’m doing wrong.
“- download and install eFileManager from www.psiloc.com (trial version is ok)
- now go and create some folders in the phone under C:\system\Apps ... create the folder Phone, and under this one create the folder Oplogo
you should have this folder created:
C:\system\Apps\Phone\Oplogo
- now you can put inside this folder (with eFileManger) the pictures you want to use as "operator logos"
NOTE:
- size of these pics must be 97x25 pixel
- name of pictures must be the ICC ID of the operator, with this syntax:
XXX_YY_0.bmp (so, for example, for Vodafone Italy it will be 222_10_0.bmp and for TIM (Italy too) it will be 222_1_0.bmp”
Thanks for any help

im not sure about this one, heard somewhere that there are some operator logos which are stored in the sim and cant be overwritten, check that out, your operator may be one of those. i suggest u try using seleQ, this is the easiest way to set your oplogo, trial version is also ok - if still that doesnt work, then maybe your operator has set the default logo in the sim.
The way listed above does work, the Oplogo isn't stored on the sim.
Although SeleQ is loads easier.

Not entirely untrue but the operator name can be stored on the SIM. I have a BT Genie SIM which has "BT Genie" stored on the SIM and in the 7650 it overwrites any oplogo :x
The real bummer is that I asked O2 to send me a new sim saying that my genie one was becoming tempramental and when the new SIM arrived it was an EXACT duplicate of my old one, i.e. "BT Genie" still burned into the rom :-? 😞 :x

This is due to the ICC ID being different, You would have to rename the Oplogo.
Do you mean the Folder "Oplogo" or my .bmp File i.e 234_30_0.bmp. ..... which one and to what? any more info please if you know the solution. Thanks...
I'm assuming the folder "Oplogo" i.e maybe to "LogoOp" instead .....
No I don't mean the actual folder, I mean the image. "234_15_0.bmp" or whatever.
I'm not sure what the ICC ID for Genie is, your best of ringing them and asking.
It will be 234_15 or simlar, you just add the 0 & bmp to the end.
Ben oplogo, Dutch operator (part of T-mobile)

Every things you did seems' okay. Let me ask you a question. How did you get 234_30_0.bmp file? If you copy from this forum, it's all in .jpg format. You have to use program to convert from .jpg to .bmp. You can not just rename it.
J2theIZZO Sorry to be a pain I know you trying to help but from previous forums on this site my ICC. ID operator is 234, 30 with is T-mobile UK. Therefore my bmp will be 234_30_0.bmp under the created directory above post.
I guess this tip does not work for me it could be SIM card related or Firmware version related which is 3.12 .18/06/02 (Yes I know I should upgrade to version 4.XX).
Any other solution trop line please. I was told system tool www.psiloc.com changes operator logo …
