Anuvat yes got the T-mobile logo of this site (I’m a registered member but using another PC ) and i was aware that the logo was jpg . This is a simple step i used see below
I used the right click mouse bottom >>save as picture>>save as type>>selected Bitmap (*.bmp) >> File name :234_30_0.bmp >> to my desktop>> Transfer via Infrared>>>Used efileManger /Handy File >>Find 234_30_0.bmp >>>Transfer to C:\system\Apps\Phone\Oplogo\ . >> Switch off/on Nokia 7650.
The END
Overall the image viewer on my Nokia 7650 recognised 234_30_0.bmp (as an image) . Would it have made a difference to covert the T-moble.jpg using a PC image Editor in order for my operator to under stand 234_30_0.bmp as a Bitmap file..
anuvat what do you think ?
all my operator logo, main is the armagedon the rest are during roaming in malaysia.
don't know why can't attached in the last post, here it is
😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃
For reason I had more than one 234_30_0.bmp … I did a find search *.bmp in Handy file. one in my (1)mail directory (2) Image directory (3) opologo directory . I deleted (1) , (2) (select the files after search and select File>> properties to find the root directory where the image is located )
I removed two 234_30_0.bmp file from my Nokia and kept option (3). Then I reset my Phone.. A big smile was on my face because the coloured T-Mobil e logo appeared.
My assumption was that conflictions where taking place with three 234_30_0.bmp stored on my phone in different directories.
ANY ONE WITH AN OPERATOR LOGO PROBLEM LIKE I DID FOLLOW THE STEPS ABOVE. I HOPE THE ABOVE IS CLEAR.
This is due to the ICC ID being different, You would have to rename the Oplogo.
Nope, genie is 234-10, same as Cellnet/O2. SeleQ also installs images as 234_10_0.bmp
Anyway, I also have a SIM reader with a copy of CARDinal. When you scan a SIM, one of the fields is "Sim Provider" and for my standard o2(not migrated genie) and vodafone sims it says "not implemented" but with my o2(migrated Genie) sim, new and old, it says "BT Genie".
This is where the 7650 is getting the provider name from.
Zygote You situation sound complicated I’m on T-mobile UK and have usefully got he T-mobile colour logo to would on my Nokia 7650 234_30_0.Bmp following the instructions and remove all related 234_30_0.Bmp during transferring to the \oplogo directory.
Hope you ate able to solve your problem
I have the same problem with Oplogos. Just cant get it to work
I am in india. With my provider as Hutch. I had a Samsung T100 before this and i remmber that when i would switch my phone on it would say Essar (earlier 'essar' ran the service and they were bought over buy another company 'Hutch'😉 and then within a second show 'HUTCH'.
Now with the 7650 i have tried the stuff which every one recommended in the forum. Actually installed Seleq and set the oplogo with that. It puts the file there but then still when i restart the phone it shows 'HUTCH'.
However in my old Nokia's (8210 and 8250) i was able to replace the 'HUTCH' logo with my own logo?????
If i presume it is burnt on to the sim, how was that possible..???

Dunno, My 7110/6310i can accept custom oplogo's with the Genie SIM but I guess the 7650 just does it differently.
hi there,
anyone have Finnish operator logos (Sonera, Radiolinja, Telia, dna) ? I haven't found any of those.
thanks 😊
ps. The corresponding ICC ID's would be cool to know 😃 too 😃 or can they be read somehow?
A few weeks ago I saw a Sonera one floating around !
Try in the how to change them manually thread that details doing it using Seleq ! Im sure it was in that post ...
The way listed above does work, the Oplogo isn't stored on the sim.
Although SeleQ is loads easier.
maybe i got the wrong impression or explained it incorrectly, but the fact that i was trying to state is that there are some operators (this was mentioned is one thread way back - i can't remember which operator) that have set a default oplogo that you simply can't overwrite.
anyway thanks for making things clear for this guest, Jordan.
here's a new logo from me...

Damn.. I got the same problems..
No operator logo in my screen when i'm using my dutch Vodafoon (2 months old) sim-card..
Only when i'm using the sim-card of my sisters Vodafoon (2 years old) the operator logo visable.
So.. gone mail to vodafone that i wanne have a new sim-card..
It is impossible to set the oplogo on some sim cards. 😞
Hmmm. If the 7650 handles op logos based on the naming convention of the op logo, wouldn't be be possible to store 5 to 6 op logos in my system, and have my phone display them when I am in the respective zones?
Here's why: I live in Singapore, but I travel to Malaysia for golf frequently. I'm on StarHub in Singapore, but in Malaysia, I get switched between My Gigi, TMTouch, Maxis, etc.
By loading multiple operator logos, the 7650 would display a nice one based on my carrier at that time, right?
Or am I wrong?
hey!! can anyone please post an oplogo of the Dragonball Z logo in the appropriate size.
thanks 😃

although im not 100% sure about this, but it think what your saying is possible. the folder in C/system/app/phone/oplogo can store more that one image anytime. so i think if you are going to transfer to another place then you can just switch logos as well. that actually gave me an idea myself.
