I've installed it and it worked reasonably well. A few comments:

1. I LOVE applications that predict what I'm trying to type. So when I fill in my MSN account can't it assume that after I've entered "@" that suggesting "hotmail" or "msn" and then either "com","co.uk" etc would really help?

2. The application must have priompted me five times for a connection point. After I hit cancel the last time it listed my buddies properly.

3. Great UI - works well. And the fonts work well (being resizeable).

regards,

Slart.

Nah, too much interfering. Once you've typed in your username once you don't need to everytime you connect.

yep, working on wlan, for me to eliminate numerous connection searches, instead of using "use active connection" ive used one of my access point as default.. last night its much crap connecting but i think they fixed their server problem...

br

its basically thesame as the old one's but ithink on the final release gui will be different... and PTT and camera support will be added...

Have tried to download...just keep getting the message "Installation of Agile Messenger not supported"

:con?

Check the sticky at the top of this forum. You need to change your software settings in App Manager.

Hi Rafe,

I have checked the software settings and they are set as per the sticky at the top of this forum.

I'm stuck...do you have any other suggestions?

😊

I have also set options quoted above but I can't install agile messenger.

In App Manager go to settings and make sure 'Software Installation' is set to All and 'Online cerif check' is off.

Hmm that sounds a bit strange. Try installing from the PC again (after a fresh download). If that doesn't work copy the sis file to the phone, and try installing from there (you can open the sis file from the file manager application). Also try installing to the internal memory rather than the card (if it gets that far). Plus make sure you downloaded the 3rd Edition version!

ive got it up and running but how do i send messages do i need to change any settins people dont seem to be getting my messages cheers

i just downloaded agile messenger and it works perfectly. only prob is that i found the interface isnt quite as nice a the turbo msn i used previously on my 6680. too bad turbo msn hasnt made one for the N80 yet.

anyone has any other recommendations for running msn on N80s?

Installed it to the memory card yesterday evening and it worked straight out of the box so to speak, no problem with connections to the wlan, looks better than the old one and I will probably end up registering for it.

Pulled the AOl list in ok, hasn't done the msn one yet as I havent done a contacts list for ages on msn 😞
