Yes, R66 never make a trial version. However, when you purchase a R66 packege, you have 3 licence for 3 different handset. The first licence you can activate immediatly, the second after 1 week and the 3rd after 1 month. If you have another symbian compatible with R66, you can work it and waiting new N80 fw had been released.
bye
I am using Wayfinder Navigator 6, theres a free 5 day trial on there website, and its quality.
Works fine with my N80 over bluetooth to a 25 Generic 'GPS BLUETOOTH' from ebay. The difference with Wayfinder is, it connects to there server to download maps... at first this scared me, as i thought thats going to use loads of bandwidth and cost loads....
But it uses only a few kb... and it caches where you have been aswell, to prevent unnessecarry downloading... Give it a try, i think its great!!
I have used it loads so far, and not had one 'Bluetooth dropout' or any of the other problems that people appear to be having with Route66
Website
Let me know how it goes if anyone trys it

mm .. i'll try it, but i really want one that has the maps local.
I know it only uses a few kbs but still dont fancy it.
If it caches the maps, then I think there should be the option to download them at home and install them on the phone.. I wonder if theres any way of doing it.
I'm getting a bluetooth gps unit tomorrow so I'm researching whether to get somthing for the N80 or my old N70
<OFF TOPIC> atm Im thinking the N70 with firmware 5.0616.2.0.3 and getting TomTom but cant figure out which version i need to avoid crashes anyone know / point me in the right direciton? </OFF TOPIC>

interesting - just found this on their website
You can download maps of cities from MyWayfinder.com and transfer them from your PC to your mobile phone via Bluetooth/Infrared or USB-cable. Thereafter, you can install the maps on a memory stick or on the internal memory. The maps do not have to be installed on the same memory as the Wayfinder application.

New firmware out guys. The full change log in here

They also mention a bluetooth connectivity fix. Here's hoping Route 66 will work with it now
