When syncing with the PC, 'contacts' and 'calendar' work great, but what happens to 'notes'?? based on the phone's display, notes gets processed, but where does it go? is this a bug?
If it's a bug, are there any 3rd party apps that address this issue?
My notes goto my Outlook Notes folder (Outlook 2003, latest version PC Suite, latest version firmware).
Do you have notes selected in the PC Sync General settings?
Not that this helps much but my notes seem to get ignored in the sync process.
If I delete them from phone or PC then they'll be updated next time but if I alter the text in one of them it doesn't seem to get updated to the other (device).

No. Apple's iSync is a p.o.s. I sync my notes with mobical.net.
I managed to sync cal and contacts with plugins - but if Mobical can do notes, I'll give them try. I worry about privacy though...
