Does anyone know how i can stop the phone answering automatically as soon as the slide moves to the up position? I can see myself accidentally answering a lot of calls to people i dont want to speak to while the phone is in my pocket.

There is an option to stop the keypad locking / unlocking when the slider opens and closes Jon, Perhaps that might have an effect on it. Worth a try at least.

Go to Settings > General > Security > Phone and SIM Card and option is in there.

I can't understand the problem. Are you saying you involuntarily open the slide of the phone thus answering calls? I think you need to sort THAT out before finding a workaround on the phone 😉
It was posted on behalf of someone else so I can't tell you if they actually have this problem a lot or not, its certainly never happened to me but i think he was just looking for a quick fix, if there is one.
