Sorry to disappoint you Sherlock but "mg428" is not me and I don't know who he is. Ask any AAS admin or moderator to compare my and mg428's IP address.

That's yet another post of yours proving that you are a mentally unstable person. The way you keep posting all these insults anonymously really says all about you; no need to add anything. The more you post, the more you convince everybody that you are a boor and a coward. You are a CLASSIC example of what I call an "Internet hero". If we met in reality, (considering that you're afraid to even sign your posts) you most probably wouldn't say anything or else if you said all the insults you posted here I'd simply punch you in your empty head and that would be the end of the story. But in the Internet, thousands of kilometres away, you feel like a hero and you shoot anonymous offences like a machine gun. Why don't you tell me your name and where you're from - maybe we'll meet someday in this small world and you'll have a chance to prove how brave and responsible person you are. You won't do it because you are a hopeless coward only able to offend people ANONYMOUSLY.

The best thing to do with people like you is to completely IGNORE them and that's what I'll be doing starting from now. Swallow your anger and hatred and choke on it. And, for God's sake, finally stop spamming this site you allegedly love so much yet you keep messing on it and disturbing everybody else.

Guys OK considering Rafe's intervention, I think we should end the discussion. And Michal, I think there was no need for you to reply, as I believe that I already proved who I am, in fact who I am not. Nonetheless, as you mentioned, anybody who is concerned of my identity can request an IP check from the moderators. (And to the moderators: I don't know whether this would require explicit permission of the IP user but, I am giving that permission)

You know what, apart from the fact that my non-connection to Michal has already been proved (at least for me), I am sure like 2x2=4 that the unregistered person who insulted Michal and then used my nickname is the same person. Ah, you may say, "then request an IP check", but I don't want to waste my time with such frivolous people&issues any more. This was more than enough. I better want this discussion to end.

PS. I don't wanna talk about Rafe's comment profoundly, as he is very clear IMO. I don't know how other people interpret Rafe's post/comment but he has taken, I guess after reading all posts, a stance that a reasonable person would take. My respect to AAS has been fortified.

I said I wouldn't reply anymore, but I think that situation has to be clarified so that this forum can be peaceful again.

YES I made mistakes - HUGE ones... and I am very very ashamed about that.
But it only happened because each time an unregistered member was saying something, he was insulted because of his anonimity. Many posts were also provocations - like the last ones - just in order to make things degenerate.
I APOLOGIZE to mg428 for having mistakenly thought he was Michal. But it's because of his aggressiveness that I have mistaken him for Michal who was the first - and from the beginning - to think that under each "unregistered" member (we are many) was hiding someone with whom he had a quarrel in the past on his forum. From that, he has been very aggressive towards people who were speaking about a phone - and not against him personnally. From post to post, all that has gone from bad to worse, and we now see the results...
Finally, I admit I made the same mistake when I thought Michal and mg428 were a single person (because of their provocative and insulting style), and that has been a good lesson for me ! Therefore I also apologize to Michal for the last responses he wasn't deserving.
In a word, if you prefer that unregistered members have a nickname, I will accept - this time - the one of Mr Idiot.

I appreciate your apology, and I would like to apology to anyone that I might have insulted, including you, if I had insulted you as well.

Nevertheless I would like to let know any person who reads this thread that until the time I was confused with Michal, I didn't use anything offensive or insulting. I just saw some people fiercely attacking someone whom I don't know at all and who just commented on the subject with his, true or false, but constructive views; and considering the fact that I may be blamed in future by some other people because of a similar situation, I put myself to his situation and I saw the need to defend him. In fact later on I realized that people were attacking him for his previous quarrels and stance in his blog, which may be true, but would still vary from person to person, and nonetheless does not concern this particular thread.

The only thing I can say about people's bias against Michal is that if you rely on AAS, Rafe and Steve, then if I were you I would assume that Michal is not someone to that extent you described, because otherwise his registration would have been already terminated by the moderators.

PS. Many times I forget to sign my posts and thus post my comments as unregistered as well. There is nothing wrong with that. Not for you Jp496582, but generally, not being unregistered, but evading from the discussion under the guise of unregistered is not welcome. One may say "then stop this hassle and register", but apart from the fact I mentioned in my last post that I do not require registration for AAS, I also generally access AAS through my firm's computer, and it asks me to type in my log in username and password for each access. This happens in Yahoo Mail!, hotmail, some blogs, so on so forth. I am sure it will go the same for AAS. And I don't wanna deal with that for a website I visit many times a day.

I really can't understand why this hostile, quarrelsome TROLL keeps flaming. Nor can I understand why he came here and started posting his rude, personal comments. I posted in this thread because Steve mentioned me in his article and also because I considered accusing Steve by MiniME user of being sponsored by Nokia untrue and unfair and wanted to comment on it. I also exchanged a couple of E90-related opinions with Andrew Orlowski. THAT'S ALL. I didn't write anything that could concern or was in any way related to that anonymous person, hence I cannot understand what caused that it's been almost a week now since he started posting his offending and rude posts about me and he apparently just can't stop.

But his posts clearly show who is aggressive here, who insults who and who takes things personal. Checking it is as easy as quickly previewing several pages of this thread. Everything he says about me actually perfectly describes himself and every single post of his only confirms that. He wrote that I take things too personal when people just want to talk about phones: in this E90 thread he didn't write a single word about the E90, all he's been doing for almost a week is posting personal comments about me. He wrote that I am aggressive: just compare his posts with mine. He said that I am quarrelsome: look who's been repeating the same insults on the last 4 or 5 pages and apparently still haven't had enough. And so on.

Regarding my forums and my allegedly aggressive behaviour... just look how this person behaves here and you'll have a full picture of how he behaved on my forums. Just look at his posts and you'll see who incites personal quarrels, whose posts are completely unrelated to threads' topics and literally filled up with personal judgements and who just can't let it go and everyday posts another insulting comment just to go on with the war. That's precisely how it looked with several people like him on my forums and this thread only proves that kicking them out of my website was the best decision I could make. Now, without people like him, my forums have been a calm and friendly place where people talk about Symbian OS instead of permanently attacking and offending each other (and accusing of being sponsored by Nokia or having E90 product manager as family member) just because someone likes the E90 while the other one hates it.

In this whole thread I didn't write a single offending or rude word. Maybe except for calling that anonymous troll a boor and a coward, which is precisely what he is, because only boors and cowards attack and insult other people ANONYMOUSLY. And he went even farther, because he's been doing it for almost a week now, repeating the same things everyday or twice a day and ignoring all the requests to introduce himself if he criticizes and offends other people.

Even if I sometimes maybe go too far in my online discussions, which is often hard to avoid when you talk with as quarrelsome and hostile people like him, I *always* sign all my posts with my real name and the name of my website. That's how civilized and HONEST people behave, who take RESPONSIBILITY for what they write. Accusing, offending and judging other people ANONYMOUSLY is so unfair and pathetic that I cannot find proper words to describe such a mean behaviour and people doing so.

I can only be sorry that other fellow members of this forum have to read all this, but please note that it's not my fault and it wasn't me who started this personal quarrel. I cannot even do much to end it because he keeps posting his insulting comments about me even if I try to ignore him. I stopped answering him yesterday but he - as you can see - keeps insulting me writing to someone else. Maybe I could try to move this discussion off the public board to email or personal messages, but how can I reply to an anonymous, unregistered person if not ONLY via the board as his contact details are also anonymous...

I'd suggest that it's time for a moderator to take care of him because he really went over the top. Even if I banned him once on my forums (certainly for a similar behaviour, aggressiveness and trolling) and now he's revenging (or even if I ate his dog, skinned his cat and raped his golden fish), I don't think it justifies what he's been doing here and how he disturbs everybody else to discuss about the E90 Communicator. He apparently cannot understand that if he has a personal problem with me then he should discuss it with me instead of annoying the whole forum and dozens of readers who couldn't care less about what he thinks about Michal Jerz and his website in a thread about the E90. So maybe someone in charge of keeping order here should make him aware of it and enforce that he finally stops repeating himself three times on every page how much he hates me, how he considers my website poor and useless, how he finds me an aggressive and rude person and all the remaining cr*p he already wrote some 20 times and apparently intends to keep repeating until next Christmas.

P.S. Regarding his statements that he only posted a couple of times and that the other unregistered people's posts come from someone else, please notice the way he puts a space before exclamation and question marks at the end of sentence. This clearly shows which posts come from him, at least the ones containing any question and exclamation marks. Another proof that he's not only a boor and a coward, but also a liar.

Hi,

I'm not happy with the E90.
The reason is simple: All Nokia Communicators were build for the needs of an Unix systemadministrator.
All keys, people like I need, were there.. right in front of my eyes.

Then the E90 came.. and the Escape Key is missing. Point. End of the story.

Yes, you can walk through submenus, and you'll find a function "send esc Key" in our favourite ssh software.

Today I have always my Nokia E70 and my old 9500 with me. The E70 give me all I need from the S60 universe and the 9500 has a good and big keyboard with all the keys I really need exactly where my fingers search for them.

I think, the new generation working at Nokia forget about the people using Communicators from the first second 10 years ago: People using and needing a Communicator as a computer terminal.

Will I buy an E90? Maybe.. as a replacement for my E70 as soon as someone explains to me, how I can redefine the keyboard layout.
Will it replace my 9500? No, because the keyboard of the E90 is too hard and too small.

And a final word of thanks to Nokia. Without the Communicator, I won't be able to go to partys or
just walk through the park during my standby time... at least without carrying my laptop with me.

Just my 2 cents...

So last night I ordered an E90 as an upgrade from Vodafone - Brilliant... I Thought!... then I read this thread and realised that the E90 is a pile of junk with substandard software, an internal screen that gets trashed by the qwerty keyboard rubbing on it because of poor design as well as a plethora of other design issues. Now I'm planning on sending it back without even opening the box after it's delivered on Tuesday. This sounds like a complete watse of money, if all of the reported problems are as bad as most are saying!?! Someone mentioned a v2 design, is it likely I will get the new design or the old one that's been lying on a vodafone warehouse shelf for the last 8 months??? Can anyone comment?

So the E90 was delivered today from Vodafone. I had resigned myself to the fact that this would be the old model and therefor getting sent straight back to Vodafone. Temptation got the better of me and I thought I'd take a little peek in the box. I am amazed to find that it's the updated Euro model with completely flat inner keyboard (no keys even slightly raised), it has the redesigned case and I checked inside the little hole in the battery compartment, it has the v14 motherboard. So... I fired it up made a few calls, crystal clarity on both ends of the call and I have a huge smile on my face. This is a keeper!
