Hehehe - Yeah what was the use of me posting about info on where to get them - I don know any websites off hand, just thought I would say they are available. If you search you should be able to find a topic on it somewhere

i got mine in the uk from www.m-99.co.uk , had it for ages! it gets roughly around double what the original gets. The 7650 takes the same battery as the 8210 so you can use the uprated 8210 batteries too.

HI!..

Thanks for the link! 😃

nice to know that there are more batteries with more capacity..

cya!

Somehow, yes! I learned about this battery from the internet, and then I found a shop in Athens (also from the internet) which had it. 😉
And now I have it! 😃 (34 Euros without transport cost)

Tell us which shop, please! There are a few poeople from Greece here that would be interested (me for one!)..

thanks for this thread. I just bought 2x 1000mha batteries for 20$ each. i call that CHEAP. Same battery as fits into 88** (something) fits into 7650. cool.
If youre living in Finland, try www.polkumyynti.com .
gg$$ 😊

WAIT!
I have problem with my new 1000 mAh battery...
It got empty after 12 hours, 9 of them was in idle state (while I was sleeping)!!! 😮
After a restart, it got almost full (funny! when you restart the phone, it shows less battery  ). 1 hour after this, it got empty again!

I spoke with the guy where I bought it, and he told me to wait until 3 charge-discharge cycles. Let's see... :-?

Petran, you already know this guy: it's "Kinitoeidimonas". When I spoke to him, he told me that it was wrong to charge the battery while phone was on - I had to switch it off, and then charge it, because (he said), if the phone is on, it sends it's position to the network, drains power, and disturbs the battery charging operation...

Could he imagine what's my job, before telling me all this???!!!
😃 😃 😃

This is bull. Just wait for the 3 or four cycles. It wont take much since the battery drains almost instantly 😊 If it doesnt work, go and complain...Greek style! :2gunfire:

Definitely! :vamp: :2gunfire:  :bad-words:

OK, I got news about the 1000 mAh battery I bougth recently:

DO NOT buy non-Nokia battery!

I know 2 other guys who bought the same battery, and they have the same problems with me: 12 hours duration, and sudden discharging! From 6th bar, falls to 1 bar and phone goes off immediately... 😞

I never had any problem with my 1000 mAh battery... One charge lasts for around 4 days.
Since my first Nokia phone I am using only non-Nokia batteries without problems.

😃 😃 😃[/quote]Yes, I do know him from "******" -not personally- and to be honest I kind of trust him. Unfortunately I did not know it was bad for the battery to charge it with the phone on and actually did that since day one! I guess I was too impatient, too! Now, after six months it may be too late to start doing it, right? Maybe when I buy another bigger one, but now I'm having second thoughts about that!

Don't know... I am dissapointed... 😞
3 batteries, and all of them are for rubbish...

We are talking about 100% "success" here! 😊
We should stop keeping busy with 7650, and start gambling!!! 😃

Ooops! Now I saw this post! 😮ops:
From where you got this battery tiger42?

From a German online shop: tsenger.de. I've also bought some batteries for other Nokia and Siemens phones from there and they all work fine.

I don't know if I am lucky or not but I bought an original Nokia battery.
But for your battery problem, I think it is more related to the brand's name of it.
It's the same way cartridges for inkjet printers work. The originals are the best but the 3rd party's are cheaper. The quality of these depends on the brand.
Eg: (at least for me) Pelikan cartridges are a very good alternative.

I think it is the same case with batteries.

And about the (first) charge duration? I don't know but I think you have to charge it until the phone says it is full, and I don't think it has any matter if the phone is on.Besides when you connect to the charger it goes on,I have experienced this when I had the problem with the Contact your retailer message. The phone couldn't start the message appeared everytime I started the phone and also when I connect to the charged. In other words I couldn't even charge the battery because of the startup failure!!!

PS:I had previously created a thread "new battery treatment" but just nobody replied.... :x
