Does anyone know of anything the N95-1 has but the N82 doesn't?
So far all i can see is...
Slide
Infrared
Extra 60mb of internal memory
The Compare on Nokia's website is a bit inaccurate.

I think you have basically nailed it. The N82 is, to all intents and purposes, a replacement for the N95 really so the similarity of many features is deliberate
the obvious ommission from the list is the screen size!!
That's what I was thinking. I wonder if the firmware updates will dry up when the N82 is up and running.

Yep, smaller screen size, 2.6" for the N95-1 vs 2.4" for the N82
Just trying to see if it's worth upgrading to it when it comes out. Although the buttons on the N82 might be too small.
Also, the N82 has keys that look uncomfortable to me; the N95's aren't luxuriously big to start with, but the N82 seems to waste its keypad space with little tiny bar keys.
For me I will upgrade. The RAM problem for the N95 is the main reason. I have been trying to work out whether to keep my N95, go for the 8GB or go for the N82 and finally decided that the n82 is the model for me.
Something that may seem minor but having the headphone socket on the top is so much better than the side, the times I get the lead caught in my pocket.

The expected firmware update and a bluetooth headset might be a cheaper solution than a phone upgrade!

My N73 had the best keys I've used for a long time, the N95 isn't as good as they're rasied in in the middle of the button. The N73 were grippier and came up at the edges. I'll have to check out the N82 in a shop before I buy one.
The N82 keypad is uncomfortable but more user friendly than they look. The keys are well spaced out so there is no problem hitting the right key. The discomfort comes from writing long messages, the keys dig in to the finger ends after a while.
