Thank you very much for your attention to 9210plus, and Digital-Red's 9210 plus is under developing and will better in short time.
According to the advice from reseller, they hope us to divide this product into 6 modules and sell them independently. So we want users to give your advice of the most wanted module of plus. So that user would get their 9210plus in more short time.
BTW, I am the product manager of 9210 plus, if you have good advices or problems, you can contact me directly.

I'm looking forward for Voice Wizard but actually I'm looking forward for every 6 of them!!
HURRY UP!!!! ;p
I am interested in a package of all 6 of them
My top three would be
* Disk Compression
* UI Scheme
* Communication Management
* Encryption
* Voice Recording and Management
I don't care much about the voice activation thingie.... not at the moment anyway.
Of course, all at once would be nice
Good work nevertheless!
All 6 part look very intresting, but I think the top 3 would be the Voice Wizard, Voice Recording & Replying and the Disk Compression (providing it doesn't slow down the 9210 too much).
Regards
😮 When will this be out??? It has been too long i guess... 😮
Because of the cooperating problem, 9210 plus has been put off so long, and missed the best market time. So that the anticipate revenue is much different from before. New 9210 plus is on lay up state inside Digital-Red. Wether the 9210 plus will release lie on the next 92xx machine.
For the user who has subscribed the 9210 plus, Digital-Red will cpmpensate the them with some other methods like provide them some software products freely. though Digital-Red has not accept any expense from the users.
9210 plus is hot expectant, we are so regret and sorry the the delay, we hope you can keep on supporting Digital-Red, and we will let more excellent software come into the market.
Instead of feeling sorry for everybody, you should make it freeware!!! That would be a good compensation!
While I'm sure we're all a little deflated with this news, I'm sure we can agree that Digital Red are working hard at pushing the envelope and their latest releases prove that they are not at all abandoning us.
A quick look at the front page on this site or the post below (from MobileMusings) shows that they're not sitting back doing nothing;

Some really exciting news arrived today (July 4th) in a newsletter from Digital Red.
First off, an official release detailing some of the features in Bowling 2002. Release is expected in June.
Second up is horse race. Screenshots have been released, but no other details yet.
Something that is probably more important to the success of the superior Symbian platform on modern, connected smartphones is the publication of details of Digital Red's intention to publish some ten games for the Nokia 7650 and the SonyEricsson P800. These products will include Breaker, MagicMine, MagicLine, PingBall, Sango, Bowling, Shuffleboard, Horse Race, Majiang ans Fisherman
Finally, early details are available of Nightmare. The storyline goes; "Nightmare is the first adventure game of Nokia 9210/9290. The player will act as an adventuress named as Linda. The player will control Linda to explore in the five-story cellar and look for the source to terror. The game is a major product of Digital-Red after developing a number of products. Nightmare gathered the most wonderful developers and artist in Digital-Red. We will try our best to make Nightmare become the most classic game in Nokia 9210/9290".
Digital Red should be applauded, and well rewarded for the work they are putting into exploiting the power of Symbian, and it is also great to see a mobile developer thinking ahead to the P800 also!

hi,
Maybe you are right. Put people who were waiting for 9210plus cannot replace it with a game. And if i understand their posting well, it seems 9210plus is commercially lost anyway. So why not make it freeware, that would give them good points IMO.

but anyway, you guys really ROCKS in terms of game producing... I love all of them... pretty neat!!! Keep it up!!!
hint+hint: Horse Racing would be neat.. :P
to Digital-Red: how much are your software packages?
Yeah that's a good idea, make it freeware for promotion
Indeed, make it freeware! Just put a txtfile in it that you are not responsible for bugs etc. This way i will buy future apps from them. But if they give me a game instead of it......

😃 So come on everybody!!! Let's shout this together...
FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!!FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!! FREEWARE!!!
Bring it on... 😉
Please give it to us as FREEWARE!!! I've been waiting it for long time!
Dont mind paying just please bring em out soon soon soon!
Hi, 😞
I also think 9210Plus should be made freeware, Because all six tools should be standard in the first place, so 9210 users should be able to install + for free
Shout
Shout
Let it all out
These are things I can do without
Come On
I'm talking to you
FREEWARE!!!
😉
I'm with you guys, wanting the stuff for free, especially since it won't cost Digital Red anything to just give away something they don't intend selling.
However, looking from Digital Red's point of view, maybe they're concerned with being associated with an application that has bugs, despite the fact that they can issue a disclaimer, because a disclaimer won't be appearing alongside posts on forums when people ask; "anybody know how I can recover my 9210 since it crashed after installing such'n'such by Digital Red?"
Also, despite saying that the product is unsupported, some users and bound to start asking them for support (though I know that no AAER6 readers would 8) )
Hi,
If they all start premarketing stuff that will never come it will be hard to believe them. That is why i ask them to release it for free, bugs or not. Many ppl have waited for this a looooong time, too long. After all it's them who says it will come, not us users! They dont even take the time to announce this bad news on their own site btw!
😮 Guess what... not a single reply from them to this posting after the bad news announcement!!!
😃 Where are you hiding my digitalred riding hood??? come out wherever you are...
If ever does appear here are some features of each of the 6 producs I would like to see!
Disk Compression
Must not slow down start up - If compressing all files, must still be useable on PC/Mac if reading MMC (and also via Serial/IR cable)
Powerful UI Scheme
Ablity to change to a new image everyday on desktop, automatically
Voice Recording and Replying
Ablity to answer different numbers with different messages, for if friends, family, colleagues phone - Dial in facility in case you leave phone (god forbid) at home and get your messages (e.g. phone in and use keypad to enter security number to get messages)
Voice Wizard
Voice Number Dial feature incase number is not one you have programmed (inc +, #, *)
SMS & Communication Management
Have a way to transfer Operator/Group graphic straight to phone side (if there is a way to do this already without sending, please let me know and not using cable) - Mutiple viewing of SMS graphics (operator logo, group graphic, picture message) at one time
Information Encryption
Must have as high "X" bit encryption (e.g. 448bit blowfish encryption) as viable on 9210
OVERALL - If after all this, a small install size would be nice - Got to be Quick
Anyone got any other features they want (if ever released)?

😮 With such high demands, now they'll never gonna let it out i guess... hehehe...
We beggars cant be choosy... 😉
Amen 2 that 😉 I don't expect perfect applications for free, then they would distroy there own market.
i am sick of this boastful softwrae developer digital red. talks for many months without result! man anyone remember the answering machine promised in my-communicator site? they said to be released within days but several months past without any clue from them!
hey i remembered that... so yeah!!! How bout releasing the answering machine first???? if not all...
Digital Red is becoming.... The Silence of the lamb...

I'd have to check exactly what level of encryption is available, but have a look at our "FreeCrypt." Source code is supplied, so you could always up the level if you feel the need.
