I think Digital Red should pack it as a Beta version on one of their other products or games.
Now, I wouldn't normally buy a game for my 9210 but would do on this occasion, just for the Beta version of the + software.
Makes business sense, they are generating a revenue stream by selling a product that they are not actually selling but giving away free with a different "working" product.
Sorry Digital Red... i think you guys SUCKS bigtime!!!! I heard you guys dont ever reply mails too... and that SUCKS too!!!
 oh man... you guys REALLY SUCKS!!!
P/S: anyway thanks to Digital Red i finally got the chance to use this cool evil emoticons... hehehe...
Hey man! No emoticon is as evil as that avatar of yours!!
Brrrrrrr! Gives me the shivers so it does!
Indeed still no replies here from them! Seems i need to buy other programs. Sorry but this i cannot trust anymore, Digital-Red!!!
Dear users:
It is very sorry we can not publish the 9210 plus now, even free some section o the plus.
Because of the relational agreement, we can not publish the semi-manufactured goods.
But trust us, we can make more new software including games and tools for 9xxx users.
About the functions of 9210 plus, we are trying another way to make it come true, but the release day and the plus platorm might lay on 9310.
Sorry again.
Digital-Red
How i wish theres more choices for emoticons.... like yawning???
coz i need that for this one i guess...
anyway... zzz... zzz...

I'd like to say I sympathise with Digital-Red on this one, but you guys (IMO) have really dug yourself into a hole with this one.
A note to other Programmers and Software House. Never start promoting any product unless everything is a done deal. Some of you may have noted that I've mentioned Vexed being very close to release. It will probably surprise nobody that it is, in actual fact, packaged and ready to go.
As to Digital-Red, it seems from their text that another team of programmers has decided not to licence a vital piece of code that makes the Plus pack work. I think it would show good customer service to explain fully what has gone wrong here, rather than a "Sorry, can't do it after all" post, deep in a Forum Topic. It might help repair their damaged image in the eyes of many users.
Thank you again for your concern on Digital-Red, although it is regretful to us as for 9210 Plus. Mainly because of market and its own orientation factors, Digital-Red has to finish this project. Up to now, 9210 market in China of Digital-Red is not so good and is far away from that of predicted by us, which also affects the orders of 9210 Plus. Even though 9210 Plus is introduced into the market, the problems of patent authorization expense and deducting expense should also be solved. All of the above gives Digital-Red a great pressure. We sincerely hope that users will understand us and support us all along. Digital-Red will transfer its development force to the field of Pocket PC/J2ME game. On Symbian OS flat, we will publish all kinds of games for users in spite of the limited market. Nightmare just came into being in this way. A series of products supporting 7650 will be developed in succession.
Thank you again, dear users.
Digital-Red,
Maybe you don't know but there will never be a 9310. Why? because of THIS. So i guess 9210plus for 9310 will never come either!
😃 UNLESS 9210plus is targeted for digital tv??? what the....???? oh man... that is really dumb... heheheh 😃

Guys, thanks for the detailed response. I'm sure a lot of people will understand the reasoning behind it. I'm sorry to hear you're looking at the other platforms, but business is business. Until there is a dominant platform, you need to hedge your bets.
Being honest, with the size of the production run of the 7650, that's where I'd put my money (even though I'm waiting for the P800). The numbers of 7650's in 6-9 months time will be equal to the total Pocket PC machines IMO!
hi
my opinion - this 9210plus is a nice pr for promoting the already available products (games). the plus package sounded already from the beginning so unreal (9210 is anyway so slow - i just had my old 9110 in my hands recently and i wondered how fast this one is compared to the "new" 9210 - and i never get the memory low message)
and the idea with waiting for the next device a la 9310 ?? this device will 100% not be compatible with the 9210 os and so all has tobe new developed ! it was so before and will be in the future - dont dream on ! face the reality !
sorry for the truth but open you eys !
ciao

On your site ou are still asking for IMEI and u can give us the option to subscribe?
What we received? Nada!
Oh, Nada excepting christmas sales package.
Damn, I love to find old topics on this forum.
This should be Named Oldies But Goldies
Still digital-red makes you realize how small the market actually is. One not selling app could almost be final.
My best Regards to Digital-red and all other companies who have tried to provide the symbian community with cool apps and had to stop(not that Digital-Red has stopped 😉 ) because of the very low profits.
