emTube - again...

I make absolutely no apologies for another brief emTube news item - a day or two can be a long time in the smartphone world! emTube just hit v1.06 , with many new language variants, new hotkeys, new user/related views, a new seek bar, search result memory, plus several bug fixes, including RotateMe compatibility. Doesn't this developer sleep? And it's all still 100% free....

Really useful. Also great that you can save movies easily, to watch them later. Like the other article suggests, makes digital TV on your mobile practically obsolete!

This product is one of a very few that have made me want to dip into my pocket and donate, so I did, version 1.04 was an almost perfect version and now he's fixed the only other thing that bugged me (not going back to the search properly)

However there is a new issue now, on previous versions (pre 1.06) you could view the movie then save it directly from the cache, which meant it was much faster, now you have to go back to the results and download it again. I hope this was an oversight and will make it back into the next release.

Either way this is one of best apps going and kicks the poop out of the version on the Ipod Touch.

Still not working on my N75 😞 I get the icons of videos, but trying to watch them gives a network error (so not sure if its AT&T or the app).

Hi, Just a quick note to say ignore my previous message, I emailed Sebastian who pointed out that the save function does still work but only once the clip has finished downloading, top stuff!

What a fantastic app to end 2007 on. Brilliant user interface and very smooth video playback for the most part, although I have experienced a few lip-sync issues...but I love the flick of the wrist to switch to fullscreen mode. Bravo.

2008 is going to be an exciting time with so many great apps being realized;->

Have you guys noticed (on N95 8GB) that when you select Memory Card instead of Phone Memory the clip is pretty much un-viewable until it has finished downloading. I.e. watching the clip AS it is downloading becomes impossible. Its as if access to the Memory Card 'memory' is slower than Phone Memory.
When I switch to Phone Memory I can watch as its downloading *providing* the clip is smaller than the available Phone Memory.
I've switched back to version 1.0 as this version, while not having the choice to switch type of memory, will allow me to watch all sizes of clip as they are downloading.

Anybody else get this?
