This thread included a poll: 7650 OR P800

What should it be optimal for a heavy business user?

P800 or 7650.

Please hel me sort it out....

It is just a click, anyhow...

I would have to say neither. P800 is the more attractive option, but I'd wait maybe a year for new models. Nokia and Ericsson are still practising on how to make a good Symbian phone. 😉

either that, or, they are deliberately not producing the 'pefect' phone as this will kill more sales - which is more likely. 😃

I agree MaleBuffy, honesty is the best policy!!!

I am an ardent 7650 user, but would love to have a P800 eventually. An upgrade to a 7650 replacement would be better still.

Identical to the 7650, but with Triband, more memory / memory card slot and Bluetooth audio would probably suffice.

Eventhough I'm a proud owner of a Nokia 7650 I think that a Sony P800 is a much better option for a more fulthfilling multimedia experience.

I voted for the P800. For a business user this should be the optimum.
For a more fun oriented user I would recommend the 7650. It is cheaper and there are lots of games for it. Could you imagine playing for example a jump'n'run game without a joystick??

Though I voted for the P800 I'm sure that the 92x0 would be the best business option (or perhaps even the mda/xda. 'course, PPC sucks heavy, but there are lot's of business-software for it. Depends on what business-use you mean. Perhaps even Treo 270?).

After all I'm pretty sure that both 7650 and P800 are fun- and multimedia-phones, not really aiming at business-use.

get a samsung sch-i600 with smartphone2002!!!!!!!!!!!
im waiting for that one, although i have a 7650 which i love!!!
here the score is 19:29....You love 7650...

But under same Pool, on P800 Forum, the P800 Leads by
52:3
You know why is that?
Because everyone in the p800 forum will vote for the p800,it doesn't mater if the phone is better or not.
I dont think that this should be the real score (19:29) but it shows that p800 users are more biased the the 7650 users(I and many other 7650 users has voted p800 here).
Maybe the real score should be 29:19 (In p800's favor)

like what i said in the first post, you'll get a biased result here. but i take my hat off to the 7650 users for being honest and voting for the p800, i was expecting less. 😃

I don't believe that. With all that the P800 can do, which P800 user would take the 7650 seriously?

The P800 "could" do lots more the the 7650,if the firmware is polished and bugs are fixed, but its only advantage so far is that it has much more memory then the 7650 (I dont see the touch screen as a big advantage).
On the other hand, the 7650 is very stable and we are talking about business user,i dont think that the business user is very hurt by the 3.6MB
on the 7650.
Like i said,i voted P800,but i expected a biger 7650 score.

I have voted some time ago and to say the truth I did't expect that results. I expected worst...

Well people just don't understand. They think that by misleading other people will protect their property.

They buy a new sony hifi and they think it's the best because THEY BOUGHT IT.

they buy a new PC giving a load of money(although they know nothing about PCs) for an Intel CPU and an nVidia Card and they think it is the best because it was too expensive and also because it was their brand new buy, and they won't change their mind even if they see/read mags and sites showing the numbers the other way (eg. ATI 9700 faster and cheaper than Geforce4Ti and AMD cpus faster and cheaper than Intels of the same "name" speed.)

PS:And about my vote... P800 all the way. Having a 7650 does't meen it's a better phone... 😉

What makes P800 better phone ????
- larger display ?
- more memory
- tri band ( this is europe, where you have the third band and how
meni of you travell to the US)
- touch screen
