Did I write properties..... I ment attributes 😃 This breaking and entering did let me sleepless!
FileExplorer 1.07 released
Do you thing that a double lines list could be fine to display the size of each file in the listbox, I mean :first line : the filename and second line the attributes (maybe) and the filesize ??
what do you think about that ??, just the black point is : instead of having 6 files showed at the same time, you'll have only 3 ! is this a lack ??
Domi.
If that was to be selectable in the settings then it would be good.
I wouldnt use it though. Not good to see only 3 files at a time 😞

Like Jyrik said if this was selectable in settings this would be good since every user has different needs. Showing the attributes is good, changing them would be better though.
what about on line..
filname and size..
the attribute after using the properties menu??
Humm :-? , in fact, I don't know how to put two text (filename & size) on the same line of a listbox with two different font size (like SeleQ do it) but I'm searching .... if someone know the solution 😉 .....

Funny! 😃
Hi,
I'have worked hard 😉 this week-end on FExpl. and found how to had the size of the file 😃 !! also I have changed the font to display more characters 😃 and changed the color of the lines too 😃 ... (see the picture), also added the feature that when you are a the bottom of the list the next hit on the down-key got to the first item
Domi.

Great work domi.
Why don't you make an option in the menu to change the font color in one of our likings (besides I realy think that black is better than red).
Anyway keep it up, pal.

Nice 😃
Just what I have been waiting for in Fexpl 😃
I think to give the possibility of changing some settings (like the color) in a future version --
Domi.
Hi dom,
Nice work! 😃 but wont all those additional changes, will make FE bigger in size? wish you can keep it lean still. dont want those big file Explorers.
More power!
pidz111, you have right, but with the new changes, the version 1.08 takes about 41 Kb !!
Domi.
dom,
41kb? well its the same as the 107. the 107 is 41kb. if its around that size. i think its still gud.
dom, where can we learn to program apps for 7650? what language are u using? any site you can recomend? like to learn. 😃
thanx again dom, i just tested v 1.08b and it is great 😊
now i can see the filename and the size on one view..
you did a really good job, thanx again for this great and free app 😊
pidz111,
FileExplorer is developped in C++ (MS Visual C++ V6 + Nokia SDK V1.0)
if you want to develop, first go to www.forum.nokia.com to download the sdk for VC++ (free). You can program either in c++ or java.
The best way is to find some programs with their sources to learn the code, I suggest to download the excellent programs (and sources) of Ashley Montanaro (bemused, forward, ....) at http://www.compsoc.man.ac.uk/~ashley/ I have started in studying its sources (thanks Ash !!!), or you can find some sources on the forum of nokia or at www.symbian.com but good knowledges in c++ are required first !!!
2 excellents books (available thru amazon.uk):
* Professional symbian programming (general symbian - good for the basis but not for the Nk7650)
* Pogramming for the series 60 platform and symbian os - Digia - very very very excellent !!!
hope this help, let me know if you need some more help -
Domi.
Thanks Dom. pls update us if your new ver of FE is out. 😃
No prob ! pidz111
But you can always visit www.gosymbian.com , it has a new section in the menu with '!! next version !!' where you can see what is planned and the screenshots of what is currently done for the next version.
Cheers,
Domi.
