i have the n95 8gb, sometimes when I add music to the phone by just adding them to the music folder through a USB connection, some of the songs dont come up in the phone, a couple might but some dont, and when I look at the music folder through the computer to search the file the songs will be in there, they just dont show up in the phone. I tried refreshing the music and resetting the phone but it doesnt work. and I tried re adding the music files that wont show up but the same thing happens. this doesnt happen all the time it just happens randomly sometimes it looks like.

Quite likely they are in a format that the N95 doesn't recognise. Try adding through Nokia Music Manager and see if they work as NMM will convert them to an accepted format.
What firmware you running.` Key in *#0000# into your phones keypad, and let us know what it says.
Are the music files of the correct fomat.? Are you adding images for each album too?
Trust me, this happens to me too... on the latest firmware for N95-2; all with MP3s. It's not even just a few; I have them in folders A, B, C... (and then subfolders for artist etc) and it usually stops at about J... roughly 900 of 1600 files!
