I've just ran a check on NSU with all the product codes and none of them offer a new firmware.......which one are you using?
So how is it? I heard that keyboard shortcuts(Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, etc.) did not work befeore, does it work now?
those shortcuts work for me in 7.40.12
Also added new Set up Internet Telephony shortcut just like in E51
I don't see any update on NSU either :con?
Does Flash Lite 3 allow you to play Scrabulous on Facebook?
Yes, Scrabulous kind of starts. But my Wi-Fi router seems to be blocking the game's Internet traffic. 8-(
So I can't confirm for definite!
Steve, which product code did you use and which Nokia website location did you use to check for the update? I've tried the Nokia Europe, Asia and Africa websites and used the 0533332 product code...no sign of any new update???
Please clarify....
Thanks
Ooh, no idea on product code, I just plugged my E90 in and away it went. Mine's a proto too, so its code is probably not relevant. Doubtless the new version will be rolled out on other regions and product codes in due course.
1. Youtube is a dream on the E90 now, much bettter than the small screen of the N95
2. Maps did start and run on my E90, no need to go online. I have version 1.2 installed.

Michael
tried this product code (0544489) and no new firmware for my e90 according to NSU. =(
I did what Steve said and just plugged in the E90 and run NSU...it detected the new firmware and installed it fine 😊 I guess the software checker on Nokia's websites are not up to date. My advice would be to run the latest version of NSU and plugin the E90 via USB cable and it "should" detect the new firmware (depending on product code of course). Thanks.
It's not out yet for my product code 0544491, but does anyone know if access point groups are implemented in this update?
-Pete
its working for productcode: 0544351
Can anyone confirm that when viewing YouTube in the native web browser and selecting a video to view, the RealPlayer application is launched and the video is viewed in there i.e. not embedded in the web browser?
Thanks
Both N95s and now the E90 got the flashlite 3 treatment, how long will it be before the N82 follows suit.
flash video is played within the browser itself, just like on a desktop

On my updated E90, it loads the video into RealPlayer????
Are there any additional settings required to get the video to play in the web browser?

I put in http://www.youtube.com in the Web browser, but I have a feeling it is re-directing me to the mobile version, hence everything is being streamed as .3gp file. I don't know how to override the browser so it loads the desktop version of youtube???
I have noticed the desktop version of youtube.com (on my PC) currently has a white background page, where as the version on my E90 has a black background page.
Edit: It's ok, I have found the link to the desktop version at the bottom of the main page 😊

this new firmware is a beta-version, not yet public
Does the current permission hack still work?
Apparently V20 of n95 8gb's FW fixed it.
So the update appeared for me but after a back up of my phone and a restart of the application its back at the v7 firmware :S
Has it been quickly removed again?
Damn!
There are comments around the web that v200 has been removed again. Grr.... stop messing with us, Nokia!!

How about the N95-3 (NAM variant) that is still sitting at v11 without FL3, demand paging, any of the speed improvements, active standby search, integrated podcasting...?
At any rate, looks like it's not available my E90 product code as well- 0552464 is a no-go.
ops, It's too late for the best aprils fool...
i was able to upgrade my e90 to the new firmware and i'm now able to view videos in youtube and other websites. My concern is that the volume is kinda low (even if i set it at max already). Steve, are you experiencing the same volume output?
