Is there a way of diverting caller-withheld to answerphone or ignoring them (silent)?? I have searched forum, but nothing seems to solve my query 😉

Do you want a program that holds a
<< Black List>> of persons you don't want to talk?????
this could be a new addition to the answering machine apps if poss 😃
caller rings from withheld number
answer machine sees that no number has been given
answer machine prevents phone from ringing (or allows it to ring depending on user setting) and diverts to another number or records mesage.
Or answering machine just hangs up 😊
instead of adding this feature to an exisiting answering machine, make it standalone 😃 again, if possible that is 😊
you could create a new group and slap everyone into it and work around with that
This has got to be a must for developers. I hate it when callers withhold their number. It Would put a stop to people pranking aswell because it leaves them open if u know their number.
This is a must program and someone must make one.
dont wuz about it, allready done :

just buy it!

Nice program! hadn't seen that before. Fortunately I don't need to use it...
All the same, in my experience "private numbers" are not generated so much by mobile users, (that option exists in network configuration, but at least my operator does not seem to support it) - they occur a lot when the call is routed for whatever reason (eg a mobile thru a switchboard, a land-line thru another operator's network).
It seems to be getting more frequent :-?

Nice application
Useful if I dont want to accept calls from some numbers, they hear busy tone instead 8)
What does it mean "busy line effect"? Is it what you have set your phone to for "Divert if busy" or busy tone, because the tone is generated by the network, if theprogram was to do it, it would have to answer the call and make a tone.
What happens if your network supports call waiting?

I tried it on Orange UK and what it does is as the call comes it it just cuts it off, same as if you had manually rejected the call, I dont get a busy tone when I tested it, the call that is rejected goes straight to orange answerphone.

Over here, the caller heard only busy tone. My phone shows the call for awhile (1 to 2 seconds - no ringtone is played) then its gone which means Blacklist application rejected it.
My subscription with my network includes voicemail (answering machine), it is activated while I'm using Blacklist application, I tested it and my calls were not transferred to my networks voicemail box.
SMSmachine is also running in the background but with different set of rules and situation. Blacklist worked well with Smsmachine
It is also working though it is compressed by Stacker.
Hats off on this applications 8)
Nice to know it can run while compressed. I'm on Orange UK and it diverted straight to answer phone too, didn't give a busy tone. I would prefer it if it did give the busy tone though, that way I could totally ignore the people I don't want to hear from. Excellent app, though.

I have call waiting activated too and it does not interfere with Blacklist aplication. The app rejects the call very fast. I've tested it using 7650 to call my 3650 phone (with Blacklist running at the background), I answered it, I let the 2 phone talk 😃 then I use my house phone to call (housephone is blacklisted - just a test), the call from my house phone received busy tone only.. and I saw Blacklist app caught the call then the call is gone which means it rejected the call not interfering with the other call. The 3650 did not hear any beep..beep 😃 (tone of call waiting).
It did not conflict with the networks answering machine maybe because my networks default #s of rings before directing the call to my voicemail box is the reason (by default there must 5 rings before the call is directed to the voicemail box).
I havent tried with Call Divert. I will try it now ...

May I ask how many rings does a caller will wait before the call is directed by your network to the answering machine if Blacklist application is not enabled/activated/installed? I dont know if it related but if Blacklist app is enabled it catches the call in just 1 to 2 seconds.
Over here if no Blacklist app, a call is directed to networks answering machine after 5 rings. With Blacklist installed and running, not even 1 ring is heard.
Did you select "on" in the blacklist (Situation tab) and turned on the blacklist app at the Status tab? I mean the Blacklist entry must have the red mark then it is actually "on"..
Yes its fully turned on. With Orange I find it takes 30 seconds before my phone will divert to voicemail if I don't answer an incoming call. One thing Iseem to have missed, can it be set to reject any call that doesn't present Caller ID? Can't seem to find that, now that would be really good.

By the way, at the moment I cant test Blacklist app with my call divert subscription. I've tried to activate Call Divert to mailbox if phone is busy but it seems my network dont allow me to activate this 😞 I can only activate "Call divert to other number if phone is busy". I need to ask the the provider tomorrow about this divert calls to mailbox so that I can test Blacklist app while it is activated.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact i'm using Wildfire, rather than standard Answerphone?
