Hello, since upgrading to v.31.0.0.016 (french version) I cannot open my SMS messages anymore. I can read them only through the Nokia PC suite. Not very practical. Anyone?

guys, honestly i dont find any changelog for v31. Have update my handset but nothing new. Not a single bit i notice. So it seems there might be some thing internaly changed which we dont notice. As a user we are mostly interested in new firmware = new functionality or improved response but i cant see any of those. Thanks.

For unknown reasons, this new firmware is not available in my country. This is the "good" service of Nokia.
my phone after the update loses the time and date info every time its switched off.. also its working a lot slower.. it was once working as slow before but that turned out to be due to my phone memory being amost full, thats not the case now, nor is my mem card even close to full..

Phone was working pretty well but I just had to have the new stuff. Now my camera shutter is often unresponsive or will respond as much as 30 seconds after pushing the button. Now I get loads of "Out of memory" errors when viewing pictures. Now, alas, I live in regret.

I cannot upgrade to the new firmware, but it seems it wasn't ready to be released either... Lucky me
I am from Cape Town South Africa. I have a Nokia N82 which is the greatest phone Ive had. I wanna update to the latest firmware v31.0.016 but my nokia software tells me there are no updates available, and *#0000# tells me my current version is v10.0.046!!! WTF guys I need an upgrade!! please help!!
I've upgraded my firmware from 30 to 31 and I must confirm the menus are a bit faster, the Camera quality improved a bit and the overall performance is a touch better.
I found a bug regarding the Multimedia Menu when you press the Multimedia key, when I try accessing the menu it hangs at times and nothing displays and everytime this happens it have to reboot the phone. I backed up and did a full format of the phone but they problem is still there.
The other bug is everytime I received a service message or check my prepaid balance (Not a Text or Multimedia message) my text message tone comes on.
The final bug encountered so far is when I disabled the warning tones in any profile it actually does a good thing by turning off my camera tone.
The music player tends to freeze a bit now and again while navigating inside of it.
I just got off the phone with Nokia support and they told me that because "my provider" (telcel) has not authorized yet the use of an updated software version, I will continue to be stuck with 10.0.046 (as I have for over a year).
Any thoughts on how to work around this ??
