That blinking N900.....that's why knock-ee-ah is slow in providing us updates for the N97, as they want to make sure everything is super duper slick for that 'new flagship' phone. Grrr.

Why did I waste my 500quid......Anyone want to buy an excellent condition N97, though it has been subject to verbal abuse, public himiliation and ridicule.

iam selling my n97
the gps has started playing up after three months of it being great it is now as good as my original n97 USELESS
illbe sending it back via insurance getting a brand new one and selling it on flebay
ill probs sell it at around 300 pounds in a sealed box just to get some money back from it
ive lost all faith in it , i thought i had a good one but the gps is now useless , i know they now have shielded gps recievers at nsc shops but i think iam just going to sell it
ive just bought the n86 had it 2 days and it hasnt crashed once , slide is cracking and solid and smooth , its just a pleasure to use after the n97
so iam going to sell it for around 300 pounds to pay for the n86 and ill use that for the rest of my contract
hope you all get v20 soon and it makes the device better to use and more stable
and i hope that anyone with problems gets them sorted nsc shops now have the new backplate and also the new shielded gps recievers so it may be worth sending them back if you suffer from scratched lens or gps problems for me 5 months of trying and waiting has been enough and the n97 has led me straight back to the shop to buy another phone
I'm pretty excited for this upgrade, even though I have no major qualms with the phone at the minute, i think it can be better. The annoying thing is i connected to PC suite today and it told me that new software was available! How exciting! Oh wait, no it's not.
Then an hour later, not connected to it, i got a pop up window that said, search for new updates, so i did and yet again, nothing.
What a freakin tease!

is this firmware gonna install on my N97, cos about a week ago, software updater said there was v12 out for my vodafone, but wouldn't install, now my phone itself is popping up saying v12 is available, yet still cant download it.
Hope I can finally upgrade some firmware without having to debrand my phone!!

Spec: Move the first bead along the string. Try to move the second bead but bead won't move. Try to move it again and it won't move. Try to move it a 3rd time and again, it won't move.
Then, 3 beads move at once, followed by 3, out of sync vibrations.
That would really help me with my patiance.

I am never going to believe any release schedule. I don't even believe the release dates Nokia set for their own phones. Why oh why did I believe some stupid website which had the schedule on. Maybe I should start my own rumours on Twitter.

Indeed... another week of October passes by without an N97 firmware update.
Can't say I'm surprised. Nokia seem to have a corporate policy of pissing their customers off these days.
The update to nokia software updater is here today so n97 new fw shouldnt be too far away guys.

Can't upgrade on Windows 7.
You need to run in compatibility mode (vista SP2) for it to work.
