For the first time in living memory, the pub is closing the same day it opened.
OK... it's only for an hour because the landlord has had a bereavement in the family and is closing the place to attend the funeral.
I can't blame him... they were married for 35 years.

It's 4 months today since the N97 was launched in the UK.
A third of a year later and we're all sat around waiting for the firmware that it should have been launched with.
The forum has gone ominously quiet just recently.
davecozens has either been kidnapped by a Nokia hit squad or is in hiding somewhere up the far reaches of the Orinocco.
angiepea is probably out shopping!
Biggzy, celios, nottmbantam, rdcinhou and quite a few others are probably pouring over the spec's of the latest and up and coming smart phones.
As for me.
Well I'll just keep checking NSU 3 times a day (they've installed open access wifi in the pub for me) and see what v20 (if and when it's released) brings to the N97. I'm not expecting miracles from v20, just what I paid for... a decent, working, touch phone.
It'll be "Last Chance Saloon" time. 😡
In the meantime I'm loading up my N95 8GB... just in case!

I'm already back to my N95. Been using it a couple of days now, and it's great. Maybe cos I owned it for so long, I just know where everything is, and how to do exactly what I need - quickly and without fuss - it just works and works well.
Oddly enough, I find I can type texts quicker with the N95! Even more odd - the N95 will now take a 16gb Micro SD card - whereas the allegedly superior N95 8GB has now memory card slot.....
And even odder - I've still got my N97. Will hang on it I think til next year, when v20 finally comes out, and see if it makes a difference.
Odderer still - I too have noticed that the forum is a bit quiet these days. Yes, I know Saudi has now gone 3hrs ahead of the UK, so by lunchtime here, you guys are only just arriving at work !
