avatar?

Will the new updated forum, allow us to discuss warez? 😛

All working fine for me - I can see images directly and my Avator works, it's just smaller.

I appreciate losing Avatars is a bit annoying. However the old forum is still there at http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/phpBB2/ but is now read only. You can retrieve your avatar from there if you wish. You may have to resize it.

Many people have asked for greater control on Avatars (i.e. limited size etc.) and some of this has been introduced.

You should still be able to upload images as attachments or using the image tags (tested below). Old attachments have been lost but the old forum is still there if you need to get at them.

If people have any other comments and suggestion I'm listening 😊

All in all I feel the advantages will outweigh the losses.

and Arni - sorry no change on that front. No you know what allowed. 😊

WHEN I TRY TO SET UP AN AVATAR BY CLICKING THE CHANGE AVATAR BUTTON IN MY PROFILE IT TAKES ME TO THE PASSWORD RECOVERY FORM!!! I'M SLIGHTLY CONFUSED.

The default setting is that you need 50+ posts for a custom avatar. I'll review this at some point.

I can upload your avatar (along with some others) into a gerneric pool that everyone can then use. This way you can use it before making 50 posts.
