I rang Vodafone earlier regarding the 6600 (they said they should have it today) but now they are saying the 19th Novemeber.. have to wait now until the 19th or CPW have it on O2....choices choices 😃

i have ordered it on O2.. just placed the order and will be receiving it on Tuesday.. Just have to wait patiently for it to arrive. 😛

whts the size of the o2 ? i like that phone but then size does matter in my case and then the 6600 comes in and wins in tht factor. i had a xda for a while. it was just too broad and dint have java or whtever. or it did but i dint know that. java apps dint work there. 6600 is a good phone for me i guess.
I dont think they are talking about the O2 phone Jesel. They are talking about the network and the fact that N6600 has been released at Carphone Warehouse on this network.

I found it on the Carphone website just as they were putting it on and it looked a right mess. It is tidy now, but they deleted it from Comming soon, so I looked in Latest Phones, because it had not appeared on the front page at that point, and there it was but called 6610 and no picture.
I rang CPW and they said they would have it in two days. I asked if it was on any other network (as I want an unlocked one or Vodafone) He said the other networks are imminent so I shall wait a couple of days to either get handset only or upgrade, rather than have two contracts running.
As wolvesfanette said, CPW have the N6600 on O2 and that is what i have purchased it on.. I will be getting it Tuesday. It also seems to be the cheapest that i have found compared to other retail shops ans networks.
Vodafone are doing it for �210 on their Anytime 200 tarriff. I got the same tarriff on O2 + 50 txt free a month.. whereas Voda are only doing the anytime 200 without free txt for the ame line rental cost..
so will i be able to go to a O2 shop on tuesday and upgrade my current phone?

ok i found out a guy official dealer whose givin a 6600 for $575 with 2 yrs warrenty and 1 yr theft insurance. i am very tempted and confused, wheather to get it from the grey mart. or official. and also the only advantage of gettin official is free FW upgrades. but then in my country its done by nokia for under $2. wht do i do.
Just ordered my 6600 from Carphone Warehouse. They are doing handset only for �400 (as well at the deals with O2).
Although it is not cheap and infact dearer than having an O2 contract, I really did not want the hastle of taking on another contract (I am currently with Vodafone with 3 months left).
I thought when my contract with Vodafone is up I can get a free upgrade and sell it to make up some money.
I am happy now. I trust CPW, and if something goes wrong, I can take it back to a store.
ok i am sorta confused if i shud get the official piece or grey bcuz a lotta ppl sayin tht they have dead pixels on their phone and in my country these arent gonna sell much, so wht are chances of me gettin one of those. if i do get grey does that mean tht nokia might have altered the screen and all by this much time. or is it only some ppl havin this problem. there is not a big diff between the price. but im scared cuz i want a good phone. i hope u ppl get wht i am tryin to say ?
400� is a lil more to pay for it i guess. lol i wanted to get it for 500$ max. now i guess ill havta put 50 more cuz i jus cant wait.

Im not sure about u going into an O2 shop and getting one but u can get it from the carphonewarehouse website. thats where i got mine.. i got it for �129.99, cheapest ive seen so far on contract.. (asuming they have it in store ready for delivery and not on pre order)

The Nokia Shop in Milton Keynes had them in stock today on Orange and O2.
They were going to upgrade me to one for �199 but because i'm with O2 ONLINE I have to do the upgrade through the o2 web site ONLY 😞

hey jesal the price of the 6600 with bill is 28000 and the price in gray is 24000 so i think buying it from gray is a better option one because of the cash and 2 because if u buy it with bill the try and buy applications are not included but i the gray market phone u get it along with opera
the price official with bill now is 26000, not 28000 so u can think of gettin it with bill. all nokia 6600 grey or bill i havent seen opera on them neways. try and buy not there at all.
ok i jus found out that in the grey mart or in official we dont have opera or any buy & buy apps. y is that. also can ppl tell me the month of import on the box of the 6600. here its OCT.2003. there arent ne imports of NOV. 2003 right ? i dont want a dead pix. thingy so i am askin.

ok i noticed this delay in the keypad lighting. y is this happenin. when i press ne button in general the screen lights up and after bot 1 sec. the keypad lights up. is this normal or there is a problem with the piece. its not like the 7650 that it starts together. there is a very light delay.
