I think I am gonna have give this forum a miss for a week or two.
I am getting too depressed because everyone seems to be getting their phones.
I got close to tears last night (although may have been helped by the Famous Grouse whisky!) and to get that emotional about a phone (albeit the best phone I have seen in a long time) is silly.
So I shall see you lot in a couple of weeks all happy, hopefully and saying how wonderful it is and you will be saying "Yes, we know, moved to the next phone now!"

ok played with one i have no words for it. its nice. cud not get more pics cuz i removed the sim from my 7650 for usin the 6600. its a gr8 phone to buy. todays price is $600. waitin for $500 and me gettin it. 😃

look if ure into nokia thts it ure in it then. cuz i got the p800 for a week i dint know wht was goin on. so nokia rulez but if u like confusing ur mind off and want a hell lot of features then p900 is fine. i did use the 6600 today nice thing (very small thts wht i want) so at this point its the 6600 for me. let me test the p900 then ill let u know.

ok i went to nokia today. officially its out now for $620 simfree. can ppl around the world tell me whts the simfree price goin on. cuz my budget is around $500 for the phone but then i guess i can only get it for that price in the grey mart. with no warrenty. so whts worth it. grey or official ?

well in the grey mart its for $530 now. yipee. but there is no warrenty on it and it makes no diff to me cuz very few ppl buy warrenty ones. neways lets wait & watch p900 is bot $1000 gry mart. ghostdog.
I would never buy a phone without warranty,especially a complex Symbian device.
I think the p900 is in stock on www.expansys.co.uk.The price is arround 750-800 euros.

800 euros is a lot to pay for a p900.
sanjoy316 6600 is for rs. 25000 & p900 last was rs.55000, but now it cud be under rs.50000. all these are grey mart. prices.
ok i got the 6600 for a day (silver) & installed the pc suite on my pc. installed fine and worked as well without ne errors, and i also have pc suite for my 7650 & 7250i installed as well. no problems there, wonder how all others got that problem. tried installin ETI Cam & photographer it dint work but thts ok i guess. i dint have opera newhere on the mmc or the phone, dunno how others have it neither i had a try & buy folder with other stuff in it ? ? ? ? ? the screen is very very nice. the overall phone is about 70% like the 7650. i love the theme part about it. also the menu is not that bad as ppl are claimin i had no probs whtsoever. one thing i want to know that earlier on my 7650 i just had to right click on the image and command the pc to send it to a nearby computer and the image would be on the phone. but on the 6600 i tried sendin it the same way but it shows me a error like how it shows when u try sendin a file to a s40 phones (6610,7250i,7210). u have to use pc suite's image transfer for sendin images on 7250i. the same problem came here as well i had to drag & drop the images via the pc suite in the images folder, it refused to go normally like the 7650. i want to know if i am doin something wrong. also the WAP & GPRS are workin just fine, its faster than the 7650's wap. i dont have opera though i am tlkin bot the normal standard nokia browser of the 6600 that i found faster. this was my exp. with the phone. overall if u loved symbian 60 and the 7650, this is the best upgrade u can get from nokia at this point of time. overall the phone gets 8 1/2 out of 10. its a very nice phone. but then again ppl have choices so choose wht suits u the best. p900 is in the pipeline as well but im goin for the 6600 for now.
hey jesal could you tell me how did u connect the 6600 to the pc is it via a data cable ,bluetooth or infrared
sanjoy316,the 6600 doesn't have a data cable,only Infrared or Bluetooth.Judging form Jesal's post,i'm guessing that he was using Bluetooth.
