Several shops in Denmark now state that the phone will be in stock and ready to "come and get" on monday the 27th of October!!!

Have stopped believing anything until I can hold the damn phone in my hands - or until somebody else out there has bought one of the shelves! Anything else has to be regarded as rumours.
I still think the middle of November is the best guess.

Today I was on Nokia presentaton and the launch date was announced as the first week of November. Here in Bulgaria the phone will be available in the begining of December.
whoooaaa december is just way too far off. i have to start think bot the p900 as well by now. im gonna test both the pieces now b4 i buy one.
Like they've told me, the website is changed from "Available in October 2003" to "Available 4th quarter 2003"
Sjeezus I Really want to test this phone out, I have a T610 for the moment bur Ericssons Menu NAvigation is a lot more complex, I Had the 7650 before but that phone is to Big, and I think the P900 has the same size, What do you all think? I suppose the 6600 Is a lot smaller than 7650 but e little bit bigger than t610. And he got a bigger screen?
I'd like to install a sort of messenger on the 6600, do you have any suggestions?

on their site i only saw 4th Q of 2003, never saw oct 2003 launch.
the t610 is a nice phone but memory sux on so i dint get it. as far as the 6600 goes its a good upgrade from the 7650 in the memory department mostly. rest if u have a 3650 does not make sense at all, atleast to me. also am waiting to see the 65k colors on the 6600. if only nokia starts sellin this damn phone soon. now they have i guess 7 to 8 phones pending to be launched. can ne1 set alarm to wake those ppl up already.
Well I spoke to Nokia yesterday (just phone the Club Nokia number) and the girl there said that it started shipping (this) last week...to Europe in general (hence the reason there's people saying they can get it in Spain).
Basically she said it would've gone to all the operators and it depends how long their approvals take to get it on the networks...so I asked why I couldn't get hold of one SIM free, to which she had no answer...Carphone Warehouse "thought" that he'd "heard" it had gone back to mid November now though...
but if the girl was right, they should really be filtering through to go on sale any time now surely?!
Just rang Vodafone UK retain branch and they have no info about being Monday next week and they said they should know by now. Vodafone Cust Services say "end of October", which is a bit more promising.
Carphone Warehouse emailed me with Q1 of 2004 (nnnnnooooo!!!!)

I have looked at Live Telecom website and they say Monday but I am not paying �450 for that privilege, not when I have seen it �100 cheaper.
My preorder has fallen through and I am totally fed up now.
If anyone has any good news for me then please share it as even the price of additional memory cards has come as a shock.
N660 is comming next weeks, price for BG-520EUR.
Next week I will have promo sales package( final), so I will inform you about the SW version and my opinion on the phone.

GRRR. Voda UK have been telling me October 27th for ages. Now they say November 14th 😞
i frankly dont see a launch in oct. in ne part of the world. i guess the first week of nov. is when nokia shud start sending them off. kinda have been readin reviews bot the p900 these days. still kinda confused wht to get 6600 or p900. the later these things come the more intrest i lose in it but also gives u the time to choose the cellphone that suits ur needs i guess. neways celebration time for me since its diwali time. so laterz ppl.
I went and asked in the vodafone shop in luton and was told November 7th... so im just waiting for that to arrive then ill be going down there to get mine 😊

you ppl are lucky u have places where u can get phones officially as they out. these vodafones stores u ppl go to they are contract based phones right? now sim free eh ?
We have two main types of shops.
Ones which will sell phones as handset only without any contract and also if you want they will set you up with a contract with the company of your choice. They don't mind who usually, as long as they sell the phone and sometimes the insurance for the phone.
Secondly, we have shops for Vodafone, Orange, T Mobile and O2 who obviously are tied to their network and usually will only sell the phone on contract or pay as you go.
(We also have the internet shops, but I guess my opinion is if our retail shops are pretty quick and cheap I like to be able to go back to the shop if I need to complain)
I prefer the first, as I never managed to keep a phone 12 months, I always find a better phone within 6-8 months, so I have to buy handset only and wait till my 12 month contract expires before I am free.

Saw the Nokia 6600 in a mobile phone shop across the road from St Pauls tube station but did not have time to find how much they were selling it for.

Phones 4 U have released the price in their October brochure as �350 handset only and Carphone Warehouse normally match them.
So that is what I expect to pay. I am happy cos I saved �500 for it, but now I have seen it cheaper I shall only pay that.
