List of APPS that works/don't on 6600

my propfiles works fin, my irc too .

btw most java games dont

eProfiles works great for me...

Have u install the v.1.91 or v.1.92?
If not, go and take one @ http://psiloc.com
After install e-profiles pro. u shout reboot your phone.

The only thing ife got not to work with it, is the feature:
assign background to each Profile.
I try all possibilitys, but nothing.
(Themes config:Background off/standard,etc do not help)

What is with the FExplorer (Domi Hugo) and the app.man (symbianware)?
Is it possibel to install them also in the MMC?

i would be glad for feedbacks.

Is it possible to have a "Applications for 6600" sticky?

Just make sure that you post the version of the application. Like I tried photographer 2.2 on my phone installed in mmc and tried in phone mem and it doesn't work. I got an asian model.

Agile messenger (no version) works great!!! for Yahoo that is.

I cant get agile to accept my login details. When I open the app, it connects to the master server ok, but when I enter my details the cursor sticks in the username filed. There is no way of getting it to the password field. USing the joystick, clicking or pulling down whatever doesnt work. The two soft key have the option of register, which does nothing, and cancel which does exactly as it says it will.

What about PhotoID? Does it work with 6600? I want an app that will use a full screen when someone calls me, instead of the little thumbnail pic.

Anyone remeber what was name of that simple "task manager" application ?

There exist one TM from PsiLoc call taskmanager.
but i think it is to early to try it out, because this Progy go deep into the system.
(u can put 4 app-shortcuts to Joystick, it have a new Taskman.( full screen)

so maybe better wait on then crash down this amazing phone.

But if u take app.man v.1.4 u will have even a more stabile and realy needfull programm, if u wanna see, whats really happens in your phone.
(add. all Programms 2 favourites, switch beetween Progys,close all, restart, compress and show ram,
show the C/D-memory, the numbers and kb. of installed apps and the open system-apps, the vcompress apps.(works together with stacker v.3)

Stacker v.3 some guys told it will work.
But if i test it tio install, my phone warn me with a second popup, that the system may not be compatibel and the phone could damage after install.
so i stopp the procedure.

Somebody knows more about?

I've tried Psiloc Task Manager (V1.41), works ok, but this is not what I am looking for, because I don't like that it is running all the time in background (I need it only to kill apps, that hanged). There was a simple task-manager, but I can't remember the name 😞

Try Switcher - freeware and AppMan from www.symbianware.com - Shareware.

Active task works, but It seems to crash and restart the phone whenever I set the wallpaper.
(May be differnet if installed in phone memory, not MMC)

DATASAFE of jwalter (see http://www.jwalter.info ) function very well on the 6600. Personnaly I prefer this product to the one offered with the 6600.

Apps on my 6600:

- eProfiles PRO 1.95: OK
- eFile Manager 1.62: OK
- WorldMate 1.2: OK
- ScreenTaker: OK

Don't work:
- Dashfly Minutes 2.1 (anyone knows a similar app that works on 6600 ?)

wirc works, but you have to use "modified-cracked-version" that works on 6600

hi if we wnt 2 read url frm email or msg default browser run slowly.Can any knw how cn we run other browser 2 surf such url? Any 1 knw?

I've installed Active Today on my phone, it seems to be working ok. Vision, from Psiloc doesnt, they told me they hope to have a version for the 6600 soon. Also a working version of Active Mail should be available soon too.

Anyway, you might also want to try the latest release of Wireless IRC (1.80). It should install & run fine on a Nokia 6600.

Nowire Teletext 2.00 - Works OK
