PEAK 1GB MMC - purchased from EPC buyer for 61.84 including VAT and delivery.
Worked with no format required.
Huge storage capabilities.
Makes 'Gallery' viewing grind!
I use a MMC reader on my PC.

Got a 256 MB play.com Multimedia card and it worked straight out of the box no formatting required.
Hello 😊
I'll stick with this brand NCP - good performance with 256 MB/512 MB on the 3650 and 512 MB on the 6600. Also the RS version 256 MB works wonderfull and fast on the Nokia 6260.
Got myself now a 1-GB version fullsize (NCP of course) for my 6600. Works like charm, formatted in reader (yes, 16kb cluster size, have to live with) and resulted in 980 usable MB's. Due to the double size clusters, i lost 4 MB to the 512 MB version. It's a tiny bit slower than the 512 MB, have to set video recording settings in Camcoder to "Excellent" instead of "Pro" if i want non-stuttering videos.

1GB MMC card (Integral) from www.mobilefun.co.uk @ 59.95 inc delivery in Europe & VAT. Works fine and the speed is OK too. No slower than the 256MB I had before!! OK for Mp3, photos, video, storage of data, etc.
Phone: Nokia 6600

Hi
How long does your battery last when a big mmc card is used?
With the 32 Mb MMC card provided by Nokia my phone standby is almost 3 days.
When I put the 256 Mb MMC card the standby time is only 1 day.... (the same talk and usage time in both cases).
Is my MMC's fault or this is normal?!
I could use some info about what cards have less consumption.
Thanx
Hello 😊
There must be something dodgy. I can use any card (16 MB original, 256 MB NCP or 1 GB NCP) and see no difference in operating times at all. Tough my usage DOES vary, i never get more than 2 full days of usage regardless with which MMC.
I charge every night 😊
Kind regards....

Transcend 256 mb

Good to know that pqi 1gb mmc works . Does rs-mmc 1gb from pqi will also work ?
anyone let me know.
thanks,
System
I use a Ridata 256mmc on my 6600 and 3650....and there is no lag and it actually reads faster than the included 16mb and 32mb....and its really cheap, only php 1,800...and comes with a 1 yr guarantee...its compatible out of the box and comes in 2 versions...hi-speed(mine) and pro (supposedly faster) and there is little diff in price
ok i'm from the US and dont wanna buy a mmc from across the world and have to wait a long time for it. So i went to ebay and found a TOPRAM 1GB MMC for about $70 plus ten dollars shipping, my question is does anyone know if this card really works or is just a load of crap. It claims to work fine with a 6620, i just got my phone last nite and i wanted to start with the upgrades. damnit i cant even transfer a theme to my phone, so i was thinking just buy the topram mmc which includes the card reader and i should be fine. what do yall think?

I'm in the US... I bought a Kingmax 1GB MMC-Retail from http://www.NewEgg.com for $80 (including shipping) I just got a 6620 this morning, and the 1gigger works in my 6620. I already had 500+ MBs of mp3s on it.. (as I took it out of my 7710). I took out the 32mb that came with it.. put in the 1GB, and was instantly listening to mp3s. No formatting required.. I'd go to some reputable online stores before ebay.. as my MMC was retail, and the same price as what you said. Granted, it didn't come with a reader, but... I also got a relatively inexpensive reader retail... I use eBay, too.. But if the retail is so close to the ebay price.. i definitely go retail.
Diamond RS-MMC 256MB 39,- euro
This works
I bought TopRam's 256mb card a while back, and it had minor compatibility issues with my 3650 (video camera wouldn't record sound, locked up occasionally), but I just got a 6620, and there are a lot of problems. It locks up all the time with Profimail, Opera, the mp3 player, and the video camera just won't record. When I put the original 32mb card in, none of these issues occur. Note that I got this chip almost a year ago, and it's a 256mb chip (not the 1gb you're talking about), so yours may be fine.

512 MB
Working Fine!
it's 55$
What is the largest size of card supported by Nokia 6600?
Hello 😊
I haven'theard of MMC's larger than 1 Gigabyte being available already - and my 6600 works just perfect with a NCP-branded 1 Gigabyte MMC card.
Kind regards.....
Thanh
Not sure if it has been mentioned already, but I just bought a Peak 512MB MMC for 39 and it works just fine 😊
does the PQI 512 work i am thinking about going with it because hell it is 35$ + 10 shipping so 45$ for a 1/2 gb and it is 75 + 10 so 85 for a gb and hell 512mb is enough.
If anyone has tested the PQI MMC @ 512 MB respond / and/or the 1GB PQI MMC
and it works the 512mb i don't really care bout the 1gb but someone else might.

if the PQI 1GB MMC yes-[] no-[] works http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=233373#
Biggrin
damn does anyone reply to these things heh?
I use a PQI 1GB after a previous post told me that it worked.
lakeywhite wrote:I use a PQI 1GB after a previous post told me that it worked.
the regular sized ones works fine?
so YOU are using the 1GB PQI mmc? [NOT RS-MMC]?
also does the PQI 512MB MMC [NOT RS-MMC]?
thanks alot for the help i am debating the 512mb PQI or 1gb PQI MMC, i just think i am going to go ahead and go with the 1GB that is huge. could fit alot of music on that along with pictures and videos. 😃
thanks -arsenic
Yes the full sized one, reduced size might come with an adaptor so it can be used as both sorts, I guess the 512MB would work as it is the same manufacturer.
