I'm frustrated, so many limited posts concerning symbian 80. Compared to xda-developers. you all only concern so many posts about themes etc... u should take xda-developers as a benchmark. Even if unable to make software, should discuss troubleshooting and try more tweaks on the beautiful communicator. sorry to disturb, or if my posts annoyed u all. I'm saying these without mala-fide, I'm an xda user.... and very proud of WM os, device and support..... but i'm planning on to put my private sim beneath 9300... so sad reading these pages concerning 9300 and 9500. not much info and knowledge... Correct me if i'm wrong... tq.... hope this'll wake some of us who are too high in editing their wallpaper etc rather than exploring and unlocking the true capabilities of 9300(i) and 9500. tq

There are more topics in this forum than this skinning thread. I'd suggest you get familiar with the search function before you start posting more of those condescending and ignorant comments.
Actually, I've browse through the web... I'm only interested in 9300 therefore, i've spent few days focussing on these S80 phones(inc 9300i and 9500). But unfortunately, there are very few threads that concerns technical issue. Pls correct me if I'm wrong... That is what dissapointed me. Even, if there is technical issue posted, it won't budge other users and got very little feedbacks. Maybe some of the talented programmers(and so) and hackers are very stingy when it comes to sharing knowledge... Or if I've been using the wrong search method... as u said, should I start searching for threads abt 9300 in the S60 or s40 sections? or even search for 9300 issues in N80 and etc which in my opinion, a very unrealistic method. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. Only this thread that got a lot of feedbacks... That why i said(in my opinion) S80 users here only only love and care to change their themes... which suprises me a lot. Do the target group of these s80 which should be businessmen and other brilliant people cared so much in changing their phone's theme? hhuhu... Correct me if I'm wrong... I meant not to hurt anyone here... just to share my view. So that I could learn for the experienced one(you all) and spread my knowledge to other potential users and junior users. Maybe we should take a look at xda-developers.com so that wer could enhanced this site... Could you be more vague, btw? What exactly are those "technical issues" you're so interested in? Maybe this thread is so long because the Communicators have a plain and boring UI? Most Communicator users here have already owned their 9500 or 9300 for a long while and know most there is to know about their machine. Because basically everything has already been discussed to death, and they know how to use the search function. This thread is long because they want a bit of change in the UI appearance, and themes/skins aren't supported by default in S80.
If you want more info about Communicators you have to dig out old threads, not just browse the first page visible in this forum. As you probably have noticed there isn't much activity in this part of the forum anymore. Many of us (me included) have owned a 9500 and/or 9300 for a long time, and have now moved on to other smartphones.
p/s: please forward me some threads that discuss about S80 apart from which is discussed in 9300 and 9500 here...
