According to industry rumours, three new Nokia handsets will be premired on Monday. These include the replacment for the 9210, the 6100 and a 7650i, in black and silver. These are only rumours, my source being a fairly reliable guy on the 'What Mobile UK' Forums.

Just a bit more info that I forgot to post, the 7650i has (again these are only rumours):
SD Card support
Bluetooth Audio and or Tri-band
Rafe seems to know a little sumthin' sumthin' 😉 too, although he suggests in a post on the 9210 board that the announcment may be made on Tuesday. Either way, hopefully we'll have some new info next week. 😃
I heard a "rumor" that the 7650i was only to be released in the US.
If it is released worldwide, i'm not sure if i'd be prepared to spend another �500(Guessing) for the extra memory after having my 7650 for such a short time.

And i FINALLY made up my mind of wich mobile to buy? WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE TECHNOLOGY MARKET!!
It took me a long long long time to figure out what phone to buy. From Samsung T100 to 9210 and t68i, i was this close to getting one of them, really close, but then the 7650 popped up, i bought it. But now after searching and researching, (i don't know why i take buying a mobile seriously, maybe cause im too young to get a car 😃) i said" okay, its the Xda"
But why now Nokia? WHY? I just printed the last 5 full length reviews of the XDA, with pictures! and I was gonna read them before going to bed, but i said: " lemme check out the 7650 forum.." and there it is.
Why OMAR_G? WHY?

I can tell you're young, you're looking at phones (I assume) for their "wow, look what i've got!" factor (we all do it, just not as much as when we were teenagers 😊 )
T100, 9210, XDA, 7650 and T68i?! Random bunch, all have the " 😮 WOW" factor in common.
XDA is nice but i'd get a SPV insted if I was you (If you can get a contract?) same thing but smaller. T68i is looking dated already, T100 is about to be replaced by about 4 models, and 9210 & 7650 may be too. I'd get a lovely Sony Ericsson T300 from Carphone Warehouse when they release it tomorrow.. just �199 off line, very good price.
Not what you're looking for? I'm waiting for the Panasonic GD87 on O2 or the Sendo Z100. Of course if you really want to be the the DADDY you need a P800, but even that's begining to look a bit ugly/old, maybe i've just seen it too often?

If it is true and the 7650i is released before the P800 I think I know what my next upgrade will be. The 7650 is almost perfect as it is, but with more memory I'd be in very happy. 😃
I can say I'm fairly sure this is accurate. BUT remember this is announcement not release, that will be six months down the line (although maybe less for 7650i.

I planned to get a 3650 till now, although I don't like it's look and the radial keypad. But the 7650i as it is described here sounds exactly like what I'm looking for.

If you can "put your hands" on it, please make a full backup of every single directory and file of the phone (in C: D: E: and Z: ) and send it to us 😉
or at least the following:
- camcorder app, with all libraries
- .sis files in C: and Z: install folders
- field test app with libraries (even if it is XIP, we could just try to "hack" it :P)
- anything related to bluetooth headset
- multimedia player (if present)

Yes brother, i totally agree with you. I will also be changing to the "i" series if Nokia should come out with. But then again rumor and still rumor. There were no substantiated or rather concrete poof to it, isn't it? UNLESS it all over www.nokia.com.
I will like to see a good upgrade for all 7650 users should there is.

Assuming all of the above whinging and carrying on is just more of the same ... technology marches on and we get new devices appearing all the time (I seem to remember this discussion from a couple of months ago).
Anyway, the most intreesting thing mentioned above is that it will apparently have an SD slot ... creates all sorts of possibilities. And of course, once they have it worked out into the device (the 7650) they will release it

It seems that your "7650i" has already been released. Basicly everything you seem to want from "7650i" is packed in 3650. I don't believe that there will be a such version.

i won�t go for UMTS just becuse of about 128kbit/sec instead of the 43kbit/sec with HSCSD!!!

btw: in germany, nokia has sold about 200.000 devices of 7650 - it�ll be another slap in the customers face to release an upgrated model.
it�l be good customer-service to sell all the new features within a small upgrading-fee in the NSCs - but I think nokia will never gonna learn that :evil:
