an application named "FTD" doesnt work at my phone and I have a hard time browsing the net to look for a net monitor that will surely sut with my fone. thx😎

hi , im new to this forum and i would apreciate your help

i intend to buy a new phone i think n70 would be my choice,

however the most improtant think for me is the software support.

so from some research i made i found that the majority of programms is supported by the 6680.

so it seems i cant choose between them (n70 -6680) ,and i hope you could help me.

if this is true about 6680 then does it worth it not to by n70?

pls help me....

a lot of the softwares for 6680 works for N70. some work 100% no prob while some gives some problems..

I can see that Tomtom Mobile is working fine on N70, but what about Tomtom Navigator 5?
I would like to get rid of my HP iPaq and use Tomtom on my new N70 phone.
On Tomtom support pages I can see that with version 5.2x and up, the Navigator 5 software can also be used on devices that run Windows Mobile 5.

But how can I do this? It is easy to install and copy the maps to the memory card, but how do I install the software? The iPaq used ActiveSync.
I have tried copying the setup.exe file (Navigator 5.21 comming from the download navupd521.exe self-extractor), but this is not a valid file format.

Please let me know if there are any chances, without buying a complete new Tomtom package.

tomtom navigator will not run on the nokia n70 as the phone is not windows based.
the only tomtom that runs on the n70 is tomtom mobile

What AgileMessenger you tested that work becose there is no ver. 2.64 .
I tested on my N70(V 2.0536.0.2) AgileMessenger V2-3.76 and did not work.

There is no link, theese are lists of apps wich are working or not on N70 for everybody to know.

I do not think the N70/N80 with work since they do not have serial port on the phones. Most of the software for PPC require to connect the serial port of the phone in order to send SMS.

Only objects can be pushed to the phone, so, the dialer from PPC to the phone over BT is functional. A virtual serial port is needed for the phones.

Can you please recommend Pocket PC (Windows Mobile 2003) software that works with the N70 and does these things?

I have actually experienced that going up one version can reduce compatibility, so simply stating "newer version" may no be adequate to tell a user 100% wether the software will work in the phone. E.g. 3D Arts's Diamonds v.1.50 worked fine on the N70, but when I upgraded to v.1.60 it would not run at all!
