hey...i have an n73..i just updated it using nokia software updater.......wen i inserted my mem card back....and went in my gallery....i saw files and videos repeated number of times as if they were copied.....but they were not taking extra space. for instance one pic had 3 copies. so i decided to delete the extra ones but wen i deleted one all 3 got deleted. if i go to file manager , there i find only one copy.....not multiple copies......so what is the basic issue with my gallery????

currently my memory was full. i cant even recieve sms or send sms. i had search from internet that formating was only the solution. but how should i format the memory??????
my Phone Memory is 44MB and it is totally Full having nothing in it....
i tried the
*#7370# also.
but the cell always askss me to delete some data, although there is no data but memory is full..
Any suggetions plz.... how can i format PHONE MEMORY ???

well....anam....thing is that...you need to hard format your n73....its pretty simple....actually *#7370# is soft formatting....All you need to do is this :
1.Switch off your phone.
2. Press '*' , 'green (call button)' , '3' , and the Power button simultaneously.
keep all these 4 buttons till you phone switches on. What will happen is that every thing will be erased from your phone memory...except pre installed things.....this will help removing the bug or virus your phone has. As soon as the phone starts you will be asked to select you country location time and date etc....just like when you switch on a brand new phone.
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE IMPORTANT NOTES OR MESSAGES SAVED ON THE PHONE MEMORY DONT FORGET TO CREATE A BACKUP OF PHONE MEMORY ON YOU MEMORY CARD. BUT IN YOUR CASE I WONT RECOMEND THAT BECAUSE AFTER RESTORING BACKUP THE VIRUS WILL BE RESTORED TOO. SO JUST DO THE HARD FORMAT AND YOUR PHONE IS BE AWESOME. =)

Hey, new here to the forum.
Here is my problem:
I just did a sofware update to my N73 and now it's impossible for me to sync my contacts from my mac. It worked for over a year with no problems, but this update just killed it. As soon as I try to pair my Laptop with the N73 it says that is impossible to conect with phone.
Any thoughts? I tried to sync from my mac to my phone and from my phone to my mac and I get the same result. I exchange the security code and nothing. It just disconects.

i have a nokia 5320 xpressmusic...the problem is when i store webpages from computer and transfer them to my mobile the images in the webpage get stored in the gallery images...this didnt happened the first time i saved the same page in the mobile..............

I�ve Nokia N73 Music edition� recently i intended to update software. it got hanged in the middle of installation. i sought the help of reseller but they said tat the phone memory is not getting flashed out. my warranty period has expired.

i'm quite concerned with my N73 , suddenly the phone switched , and when i tried to turn it back on the lcd screen lights up but just doesn't get even to the white screen with the Nokia logo..
When i try to charge the battery i can hear the "click" but there's no icon on the screen..i have tryied different batterie , with no succesful results, i tryied the 4 keys reset, but nothing happens..
When i connect the phone to the laptop (via usb) a windows comes up : "usb device not recognized or not working properly" (nokia pc suite is installed)so i suppose i wont even be able to do a symbian restore?!

I suppose this is an older phone ? Did you exclude Hardware issues , like broken button , joystick , cameracover , spoiled fluids ?
When you are sure it is a software issue , Vulcan Death Grip should restore the Phone , see above or : http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/81021/
All you personal data will be vanished . Hope you have a Backup .
When after a right reset , the phone still doesn't work , it will most probably be a hardware issue .

unfortunately the Vulcan Death Grip doesn't work, the phone doesn't even get to the Nokia logo screen..i just wonder how an hardware fault could be occur since the phone has been in my pocket..

I just activate my mailbox service on my nokia E71
it works well, there's no difficulty on setting it up, but each time I switch to home-screen and then get back to mailbox, it's disconnected and I need t to connect again.

I have a problem with the power saver function since i updated my firmware to V 4.0839.42.0.1
The clock/date and message info that always showed in the background when my phone was inactive is gone..

The option power save is still there but when my phone is inactive it just gives a blank screen and after 15 minutes it goes standby with the blue led light..
3rd party apps like cClock don't work either..

I am using n73. i am unable to reply a message or forward a message. ia can only type and send a new message.
when i try to reply a message it says "Unable to send message" and in detail it says "Memeory Full". and move the message to "Outbox". when i go to "Outbox" select the message and send it, it easliy sends the message.
when i try to forward a message it displays 2 messages

when i reset with *#7370# or *#7780# or just restart the mobile the problem disppears for a little time but after 2 or three minutes the problem again appears.
there is no low memory as i check the the memory nad there are 32MB memory free.

My N73 phone has suddenly stopped showing the pictures and videos.😡 I can shoot vidoes and click pictures but cannot view them in the phone. As soon as i open the gallery, there's nothing in there. Hi folks! I'd really appreciate some help regarding my N73 phone! For the past few weeks, it has been showing some really weird behavior! Some days back the phone reset the theme and wallpaper and everything else automatically and just froze and went back to it's default theme and settings. I had to reboot the phone and while switching on found that the date and time also had been reset and after restart, everything was still frozen. However, the weirdest thing was that the phone was showing that it's charging for sometime, even though no charger was plugged in!!!!!
I also often hear echoes while on calls. However, this I guess is normal for most networks and happens from time to time. The other major disturbing behavior of the phone is that the phone gives random warning beeps, even when the phone is locked and the backlight is off. Usually such beeps are generated when there's some notification and the backlight turns on. However, immediately when I check after these beeps, there's no notification or anything whatsoever and the backlight stays off. Also, couple days back the phone had gone to the default Nokia start up screen (white with the blue Nokia logo) on it's own and when I checked I saw it was just booting up the desktop. Since, my keypad is locked, the phone always asks for the lock code before starting up. I find all these things very perplexing and disturbing and am apprehensive that my phone is being hacked into. I would really appreciate if someone can shed light on and help me with these! Thank You in anticipation.
Make a Backup of personnel stuff. Do a soft format, with *#7370#. Check with Nokia Software Update if it have a new version for your phone. Then restore the content. Should work!

I have a big trouble i'm facing in the last 2 months with my NOKIA N73 phone!I bought this phone on second-hand and subsenquently i noticed that my phone's camera doesn't work in the right way!

Well, i open that cover(from camera) , i try to make a photo and after that my phone gets back to the menu where i came away from!
And this thing happens every time i try to make a photo and even a video film!
For example,2 months ago i was to my favourite team's football match and i started filming!After about 15 minutes of filming my phone got back to the menu and everything was compromised!
I can't bear this thing anymore!If someone could help me please don't hesitate!
What would be the problem????I have a feeling that my Micro sd Card would be the problem but i'm not sure at all!
