well you can sign up from your PC...you can download the Gizmo client for PC and when you run it you get the option to register an account,
then you enter those account details into your phone in the options where you try to connect Gizmo to the network
But there does seem to be a problem with phones not connecting to the Gizmo network, specofically E61, but I also have problems connecting so this may also be an N80i problem also..
I have downloaded Phoenix and cracks and tried installing all afternoon, on two different computers. No joy. When i managed to finish installing, after i restarted and clicked phoenix, it kept asking for dongle, replaced cracked files and then it said 'illegal operation'. Tried on a laptop, could not go past the 'dongle required' in installation phase, no matter how fast i clicked to overwrite the dll files. Then i tried on a win2000 (second os on my pc) and could not make it work there either. I am at the end of my patience, anyone had these problems? I can see all of you guys managed to do it without problems, i thought it was my computer first, but the second computer didn't work either.

you have to be really really quick to open the crack and also quick when it asks you to overwrite all files...it took me 4 attempts to get the timing right 😊..
I had similar probs, after uninstalling and reinstalling about 20 times if finally seems to work, but is very flakey...throws up errors when ever it feels like it, crashes intermittently.....No way do I want to flash my phone when its like that......before I condemn it I will try it on a fresh install of XP if it fails then I give up.....People on here seem to have no probs thou, maybe they would like to share their success with us feeble ones😉

Have you removed every other instance of nokia related software first before you install pheonix, the NSU, pc suite, drivers etc...
yup totally clean, i cant get it any cleaner unless i install a fresh xp install.....I have tried everyting but like i say its very unstable....so i think my best be is a fresh install.... I cant stop saying install.......thats now many times ive installed this software🙄

good luck Jedi ... hope it goes ok when you eventually give it a go .. use the force 😉..
any other new features people have noticed asides from voip and other software from the download! section?
Managed to install and overwrite the files, then restarted, but after that, when i started the program it said nokia dongle needed, i then replaced the exe file and the dll with the ones in the crack file. Now it says program has encountered a problem and needs to close. 😞 I don't know what to do anymore. By the way, it has been said you need Diego and Phoenix to flash a phone. What is Diego for? The Reaper doesn't mention anything about Diego.

I tried to install Diego but for some reason that also did not install properly. And BB5 reaper said you have to uninstall everything first (including Diego) before installing phoenix.
cbcharlie wrote:any other new features people have noticed asides from voip and other software from the download! section?
I must admit that I have noticed a dramatic improvement with the camera in low light....it may be wishfull thinking, can sombody else try taking a few snaps and see what you think ..
Ado Jedi.
Try uninstalling everything nokia related and then run nokia pc suite cleaner
LINK: http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4144912
Go into C drive and check in Documents and Settings (make hidden folders visable in folder options) and delete any nokia/pc suite related folders.
Then do a fresh install of Phoenix making sure the dongle crack is already open and you're ready to hit the install button as soon as required.
Worked for me. Hope this helps.
dunarea wrote:I tried to install Diego but for some reason that also did not install properly. And BB5 reaper said you have to uninstall everything first (including Diego) before installing phoenix.
Uninstall EVERTHING to do with nokia..including diego, pheonic, conectivity drivers...absolutely everything
then get the lates reaper get it here http://www.schwantz-i.org/nokia/BB5%20Reaper-2006.zip zip password: i-ztnawhcs
then follow the instructions, if you cant get the download links in reaper to work, there are alternatives for pheonix and diego in this thread somewhere
install diego
install pheonic then install the dongle crack (quickly)
then restart computer and patch pheonix with the crack
then it should work
Follow the instructions in reaper EXACTLY

Also cheers for the help setting up Gizmo, now registered but only managed to hear the test message so far as it now says service unavailable😡
No probs 😊
I also noticed if I have Gizmo running on my PC then I cant login on my phone...which is quite bad because it means I have to keep starting and stopping it on my PC everytime I go out.....
Skype for instance is able to run on more than 1 PC at a time...so I hope Gizmo can fix this.....
Looking into Gizmo there are alot of little niggly anoying things things that need to be sorted.
checking video now

The BBReaper link further up on this page is a step by step guide really. The only other thing you need to know is further back on this thread. If you're using Phoenix to flash then you should really do the research behind it... it's not really meant for basic users and can give you severe problems if you don't know the full implications for your device.
cbcharlie wrote:voice over ip worked pretty good, gizmo is nice software, the voip is set up nicely, dial as normally, instead of choosing voice call, choose internet call ;]
gizmo install from download folder ok (N80 IE) but can't seem to register to the Gizmo service.
it say "Unable to connect to the connection network". In gizmo troubleshooting this error is for incorect password, but i tried and tried again whit the user and password that work fine with windows client. wlan connection is ok.
