Does anybody here know if it is possible to change the cover of the nokia 7650, I dropped him sometimes and some risks were in him, is it possible to change??
Some risks are in his inferior part, is it also possible to change?? 😉
Nokia 7650 cover!!
Yes there is,you can have the original one.
Ask for a price in you local NSC.
Or you can have NON Nokia ones from any regular mobile store.

Since the two parts of my 7650 have become quite loose, I took it to a NCS to have it repaired. They told me they would need to change both covers, and that would cost me over 300 euro!!!! The phone itself costs around 600 now... Is that THEFT or what??? Of course I did not accept that. How much do they cost in other countries? I remeber someone from Finland saying talking about very low costs there, but cannot find that post...
what about warranty???

Two pieces of plastic for 300 euros... that robbery!!! :robot:
Talked to local NSC in FInland, and the price for new covers are about 30 euros.
Not including work.
So that 300euro is a bit too much.
what about warranty???
They said that the warranty does not cover this case because they claim it has become loose due to ....bad use!

I intend to make a formal complaint to Nokia Greece about this. I'll let you know what happens. If you think there's anything that could help me prove the price of 30 euro to them (in case I have to), please let me know..
Ma ke a complaint for me to...
The situation of Nokia Greece (Alpha Copy) is tragic.
I bought a 7650 and 2 days after that the phone could't start up/boot.
I send it to NSC.
3 weeks passed and it's not ready yet.
They told me that they send it to Italy... (!!!)
In other words they are useless if in the whole country there is not even one NSC which can service my phone.
I think I am going to start a new thread about complains for NSCs
PS:Sorry for my poor english

I couldn't agree more.
AlphaCopy is using the same tricks here (Skopje,Macedonia).Mine was bought from Germany. They didn't even wanted to take it for repair (Unless i paid) and the phone was under warranty, plus i'm a club Nokia member.
I wonder will the firmware upgrade be charged? It shouldn't, if the phone is under warranty. With AlphaCopy? Things are always different.
I don't know about upgrade and I hope you'll get it free.
But if you read the limited waranty written in the last pages of hte manual you may get the wrong answer...
(I translate from Greek):
"-6.This limited warranty does not include
viii)software upgrades because of changes in the parameters of the cell network"
(The translation is a liitle "buggy"😉
This can be mis-understood by someone (especially Alpha Copy) and you won't get your free upgrade.
I know of a friend who paid 60 euros for the service and firmware upgrade of 2 N8310 while they were still under warranty!!!
Maybe that's why there are so many groups of people who trust Sony-ericsson even in the past with their buggy phones (eg. T28) but with their excelent support. (free firmware upgrade done in ten minutes...!!! and if there is a problem with your phone and it's under warranty they replace it immediately)
No reason to offend Nokia or Ericsson(especially the last one after they stopped making buggy phones )
But Alpha Copy...?
ALPHA COPY is know for their BAD customer service. It sometimes takes months for phones to get repaired. However this has nothing to do with NOKIA itslef though. However they can be generous from times to times like when I got a new 8210 when mine had a reception problem. The phone was NOT under warranty. So go figure, they can screw up and at the end be very generous. Its random if you ask me.....
Hi,..
I can say things in Switzerland go better,...I had a new FW 3.16 done in 15 minutes by a Nokia re-seller for free.
hope you'll solve your problem soon!
Cheers

Alpha Copy reminds me of that movie i saw where there was a mayor of this village in Alabama far far away from civilization. This mayor was doing everything he wanted simply because it was such a small town in the middle of nowhere.
That is Alpha Copy. They think that they are in the Far West, forgotten by the mother Nokia, doing everything they want, simply because either way the inhabitants of the small town called Greece will buy the Nokia phones they want. Service? They don't know this word . My experience: bought a Nokia 9110 a few years ago and after 8 months the screen suddenly didnt show anything. Took to Alpha Copy. They bothered to answer to me after exactly 3 months and about 300 phone calls (not joking - 200 of them werent even answered). The answer was that there were traces of humidity in the phone. Really? After 3 months in the "Service Dpt"?
Well, this is Alpha Copy. The question is what is Nokia Finland? :agrue:
I just want to add that AplhaCopy are Nokia representatives for the whole balcan region, not only Greece. They are resident in Macedonia,Montenegro,Croatia,Serbia etc etc.
I agree that they do what they will,i just dont understand why Nokia allows this kind of behavior.Do they know what is going on here?
Maybe we should write a petition and mail Nokia Finland.
Hmmmm...ALPHA COPY is one of the most successful resellers of NOKIA phones and the chairman of AC was recently anounced businessman of the year...I cant remember which year though 😊. I dont think that NOKIA will give a shit about what we say anyways. Its just the way it is! The thing you CAN do is release your anger at the poor Nokia Club sales person that will eventually get all the hate! 😃

You know what? We dont have Club Nokia here 😞
LOL, I know! 😉
However, you sure must have some Nokia Service Centres....go after them! 😊
Imagine this: we dont have a Nokia Service centre either 😃
We only have,AlphaCopy!!! 😃
I'm doomed!!!
I'm e-mailing them right now about the firmware upgrade.
I let you know what their responce is 😃
-EDIT-
Tomorow 😃

That doesn't mean that they have good after sale service...
They are only gonna give you the support you deserve if you pay them...
If it's under warranty they are gonna screw you...
And Mr Konstantinidis was picked as businessman of the year because he badly uses Nokia brand in order to promote his name (u know image making).
Unfortunately this is not a problem for Nokia because mobile sales of Nokia here are going very good.
But until when...?
A small update on the AlphaCopy issue.
I have just recieved a reply from them.
They've said thet latest firmware is 4.39 and "if" the phone is under warranty the update is free of charge, else its 15 euros.
Like some of you may know, when my phone was malfunctioning they didn't accept for repair because it was bought from Germany so i had to take it back to Germany in order to get it repaired.
I may take this issue to higher ground if everything else fails.
Wish me luck.

Hope I'll take my phone soon too.
Only God knows (and AlphaCopy)!

good luck! that goes for me as well. i've taken my phone to a Globe Business Center here in Manila as well. I dont think (i maybe wrong) there's NSC also here but i believe the Globe is in direct partnership with Nokia, so that'll be good enough. Im just hoping they will replace my phone because it's definitely a factory defect! (bluetooth system error, shit!) 8)
Talk about a hijacked thread!
</spam> 😃
I bought mine and like 1 week after it froze dead!!!After 2 weeks time they gave me a refurbished one from Germany!!!Everything it works ok now.Thank god!!!The service it was in Athens!!!
I got mine upgraded today,and strangle,AplhaCopy did a very good job 😃
