Well, I was ready to apologize in case I was wrong, but unfortunately I have met a lot of frauds throughout my life, so I am getting kinda good at spotting them.

'paultheman' joined the forum the next day, on July 24. Soon after he posted a message saying that he visited the 'main office' of gpsmidlands (is that the garage?) and saw the patch running. A few hours later he was very insulted that I told him his words didn't carry much weight because he was new to the forum. About 9 hours later he logged out for the last time, also bringing his total of postings up to 2.
'Gpsmidlands' joined the forum on July 28. He waited 5 days before making his first and only posting, on August 2. It was edited 35 minutes later and right after that this user signed off for good.
'Gpsmidlands' uses a 5-point punctuation AND starts off a sentence with punctuation, just like 'xdaman', whereas most of us uses punctuation to end a sentence.
'xdaman' joined the forum on August 8. The rest is history...
