Exactly. What some people dont seem to be able to grasp is that its not just the fact the patch is behind time, its a whole raft of things that points to the fact GPSM cant be trusted. And when you couple that with all the excuses, it is the reason why I and others no longer think GPSM are telling the truth.
Having said all that, its still possible the patch exists, as I dont have any proof otherwise. Hence me not ever calling GPSM any names, but I have voiced my opinions as to being able to trust them.
If they chose me to demo this patch, Id virus check it first, as I think I may have upset them more than just a little on this thread.
By the way, did anyone ever get the proper address for them? Its all very well them offerring people to come and look, but where is it? As said, its only a PO BOX address.
If you look at the website, it doesnt say anything about visiting them. Its all about send to them, post back.
You could be forgiven if you thought it was a kids bedroom setup, getting spare parts (especially PDA screens) cheap from ebay and repairing them and sending them back. Fits in with the Xbox and PS2 modding.

Humm. Best thing I can think of is to give him my 6110 navigator. I dont have a camera (beleive it or not!), I have been getting rid of all my electrical stuff and trying to narrow it down. Id really rather not be without my phone, but if needs be...

Well, looks like thats it for sure then. I cannt see any legitimate reason for a company to have a residential address and a POBOX, unless of course they are trying to look like a company and they are not.
Couple this in with the very dodgy phone lines (at very high cost to the person ringing them), the constant delays in the patch, and sudden need for approval from the 'corperate clients' and nokia, and the odd people recently joined up on the forum with the simple purpose of defending them.
Makes it pretty certain 'GPS Midlands' are totally untrustworthy. I will also be editing my other post earlier in this thread and on other forums to direct to the last part of this thread, detailling that GPS midlands are not to be trusted.
If GPS Midlands contact me with a good reason not to do this, I shall change it.
