GG Ximplify!!! Finally this killer-app is launched. Now lets just wipe our a***s with activedesk because it bacame useless. 8)
btw, this is THE APPLICATION. Buy it!
anyone had any problem with this app yet??
I think the One2Go is a kind of active panel where it can be used with active desk.
The combination makes perfect.
useless app believe me..
which one do you mean?
I thinked the usability is depend on one's need.
what all can we do with this app. i would like to change my colour themes.
i want purple and something like that. can it do that ?
No, it can't.
Read the information about what the application is designed to do.
Interesting.
I will try it.
😃
I'm trying it at the moment, and loving it so far.
It takes less memory than Active desk, but then, it's a bit more sparse graphics. The minimalism is great, if you like that kind of thing.
I'm a die-hard customiser, so I'd love some more configurability. I love the transparency option, but sometimes half the text blends in with the wallpaper. I suppose it's a trade-off between readability and coolness.
Niggle: The icons pop up in front of the caller-balloon if you set them to bottom-left. Also, the meeting icon is ugly. 😃
It's a bit sluggish - I tend to be a little bit slower when using One2go's way. Hopefully Xymbian will speed it up a bit!
I love the freaky little scrolly message (something which has INCREDIBLE potential if used sensibly), but maybe a few more options for the reminder? Like adding a vibration option, perhaps, or a custom sound. And while I'm at it, why not integration with Profiles?
I like both One2Go and Active Desk, but it really just depends on what you prefer. One2go offers at-a-glance information (but no detail, for that you have move the joystick and click once), where Active Desk gives more verbose information, albeit at the cost of a few more joystick clicks, and losing the Telephone screen). I'd recommend that both be tested before you make a decision.
I wouldn't use both of them together (it'd take too much memory), and I don't know yet how well One2Go plays with other applications, like Task managers, but at this moment, it has a welcome space in my 7650's memory.

Isn't purple already one of the themes in your phone?
It is in mine
As already mentioned it is slow, the on screen icon updates do not up date quick enough. I manged to crash it inside 20 minutes, requiring a battery removal. I can now replicate a lock up of my phone all the time when recieving an SMS. I have the setting so the task bar is not permanently on screen. When I receive an SMS, I get the standard Nokia on screen short cut to go read it. If I select this, the message pops up, but the icon saying 1 msg appears, under the test of the message. This freezes the phone, the only way to clear it is open and close the slide. In fact, the message icon doesn't need to appear for the freeze to happen. When the phone crashed yesterday, I lost the facility to trial the software, I contacted Ximplify, the support from them has been top drawer. I received another copy of the software giving me the 14 day trial back. They couldn't replicate the problem I had yesterday when the phone crashed, ( i had been using WAP, then went staright to a recieved SMS, the phone just died) but now I can replicate the phone freezing every time, at least they can work on a fix for this bug. My initial impressions of the software is good, but I can't use it until this bug is fixed. I receive 100-150 SMS a day, you can imagine how annoying it is havig my phone freeze every time I have a message! Plus they need to increase its operating speed. Then I will be happy. 😊
100-150 SMS!!!!
HOLY......!!!!
Sometimes I forget I have a mobile phone, especially after my 7650 is being repaired on NSC and working on a 6210,but even if I had my 7650 I wouldnot send more than 20-30 sms.
You are overdoing it pal!!!
Anyway,the bug is serius.
I hope Ximplify will take it in mind.
Great app. rulez.
I have the same problem - It crashes when I get an SMS come in. Love it otherwise but until its fixed I wont be purchasing! :x
is it really good app? 😊
I like it also.
Till now no crashes.V 4.39, I also receive alot of SMS-20-25 dayly.
BR,
Miro
Great application hu? Much more stable than Active Desk, tasks up less space and doesnt need to take over your phone to give you a constant reminder of upcoming tasks & appointments.
You can still change the volume when someone rings you, something you can't when using ActiveDesk.
Remeber, if you buy it (only $12) you get tech support from Ximplify and free updates later on, without having to pay any extra unlike certain other 7650 developers. Well worth the 7.69 it costs to register! 😃
Can anyone who is trying the software see if they can replicate the phone freezing? Not that I want to encourage you to knacker your phoes, but it would be helpful to see if it happens to others too. The setting I use is so the task bar isn't always on screen. When an SMS comes in, you get the standard on screen Nokia shortcut, click to open the message, and the little in box icon will appear on the screen 'under' the text. If this happens, the only way I found to get rid of it is open and close the slide, then all works fine. Can someone try this? I do use my phone as a complete messaging tool, email, MMS, SMS, WAP, the lot, and because I get such a high incoming rate of SMS this bug is annoying. I have spoken to Ximplify, and their back up service puts a lot of companies to shame, I can't fault them there. But until this bug is sorted I can't use the app. Just interested to see if it happens to others. Many thanks.
Just tried it for the pass few day.
No crash on my phone.
My firmware version is v3.16.
Hopes this will help the developer to fixed the problem.
Anyone else helps them, just report the result & the firmware version on your phone.
Press *#0000# on the telephone screen will do.
I tried this app for a couple of days and I noticed a major problem: it drain the battery very fast, i.e. the battery last less than one day. Without this app installed, the battery last usually 3 days. I think this app have some continuous timers that drain the battery.
Anybody else noticed this problem? The truth is I like this app, but I will not use it with such a big problem.
Yes,
The same here, The battery is drained like hell !
Normaly I use the phone( very heavy) 2 days,, with12go, it stay less than a day.
V4.39
BR, Miro
I ve reported this to ximplify.
Sound like the Sreensaver
I have also screen saver installed. I installed them at the same time with one2go. I don't know which one drains the battery so fast.
It is an excellent app.
I don't even thought about that even if my 7650 need to recharge every day because I use my phone frequently & this happens even I ve never used Screensaver nor One2Go.
I will try it to figure out when I am free.
well, the 7650 drains the battery as fast as a shark and theres actually no differences if i use one2go or not. Ive implemented my old car-battery to a big backpack and i soldered the charger there. Now when the battery runs low i just slid it in one of the backpacks pockets to gain more power. Sad thing is it weights over 6kg's. 😃
btw, one2go IS WORTH buying. Toss the activedesk, its useless. 😉
Yes, its the BEST app ever made to the 7560!!! 😃
I can only add that I purchased it the moment I knew it was released, not even bothering to try the demo. I have had no crashes nor have I noticed the battery the battery draining any faster than normal. it is a killer app, everything I need to know at a glance, plus the functionality of the joystick commands/shortcuts, its worth buying. 😃
i was just wanderinf if any of you guys have a program in the task manager SW_SA_PW there... cause i can't get rid of it... i came on the phone when i installed one2go... and even when i uninstalled the software and restarted the phone it was still there... does anyone else have the program on there phone and could you please let me know and how to get rid of it...
