Just wondering... When I bought the first McGuider, I got a memory card with all current versions on. What will happen if I purchase McGuider 2009? Will I be able to use the S60 until the iPhone version is released by App Store (most likely in about two months, when OS 3.0 arrives) and then switch to iPhone, or will I have to purchase the complete package yet again?

I am still a bit mystified why no updates/bugfixes whatsoever was provided for buyers of the previous version. Not even a discount for the 2009 version, so I am kind of hesitant in pouring more money into the pockets of Sygic, I am sorry to say...

Price is still 79Eur.

Sonym do you know if it works on a N97, or when an update will be available so that it can be used on a N97?

Hello

Is there an option in McGuider to navigate from A to B (not just from your current location to point B)?

Cheers

If you have a GPS signal then AFAIK no you can't, but if you do not have a signal then when you select your location you will be asked where to route from (last GPS location, point on a map or wait until you have GPS signal).
It is possible to force no signal by turning off the GPS in settings, then create your route. As soon as you turn GPS back on though the program will change your A location to the GPS singal location.

There is a reason why garmin has a 2fps instead of an 8fps- Battery power !! it takes alot of processing power to keep updating th egraphics on screen (hence why games like nitro kart kill you battery within short time, but golf can be played for hours!).

Aside from the fact that really no one drives fast enough for a frame change in 1/2 second to make a difference.
