Nothing for my 3 UK branded one either (0586308) - not that I was expecting it until at least a couple of weeks after the UK non-branded version is out.
This is only available for certain product codes.

You can check to see if the latest firmware is available by entering your product code into this Nokia checker.
*Note that not all countries and operators support the latest version
i updated mine via NSU when i woke up this morning and checked the FOTA
after updating it, FOTA still shows v12 as an update to the phone....weird
Just checked with NSU - nothing. I didn't expect there to be an update, because the NSU didn't require updating when I launched it. It almost always does when there is one...
it definitely isn't available for 0585162 unfortunately.
saying that i've only owned mine for 4 days and it came with v11 so not the end of the world.

V12 now appears to be available for Sim free UK N97s!!!! About bloody time!
I've just done a FOTA update (698Kb) and I'm now on V12! Yay!
0587240 (White - UK - Sim Free) and still v11 via NSU

I've just updated and my wifi has dissapeared, I cannot find any way to st up a wifi conection, there is no mention of wifi in the connection settings.
Any idea anyone ? I can't get through to the nokia support line at the moment, It's probbably clogged up with people with ntthe same problem
You need to re-define the access points apparently, this and bluetooth pairings are lost in the update by all accounts.
I'm just restoring my backup to see if that brings the settings back...
Seems to have brought my wifi and BT pairings back (restoring settings only from a mem card backup) but there's odd stuff going on, so it's not workign quite right yet...
EDIT: seems to have done the trick.
Well thats buggered mine up.
Lost all my access points and wifi has disappeared all together.
I've used the Settings Wizard to get my settings back, but i can't move them to "Internet" that i've created because they are "protected".

Just downloaded via Fota for 0585162. It removes all access points, so I called my provider for configuration message.
Wifi is deffo not on mine.
Forgot about using setting wizard to get configs back..doh
At least you guys can download, mines a VF branded handset, the update is there but servers must be too busy! GRRRR!!!
gonna try and hard reset and see what happens....

I wish i HADN'T downloaded the update.
I'd rather have my phone on v11 WITH WiFi than on v12 WITHOUT WiFi.
