After i install V21 I sent my N86 for repair. Take 2 days to get it repair and I am not sure whether Nokia fixes my problem. Major problem with my bluetooth, it auto disconnect, on/off, unable to transmit call and so on....sending to repair for the 6th time. Nokia should have replace me a new unit!!!

New firmware? Fantastic!!!

Can you give me us any indication on what kind of improvements will be made and/or any new features please Damian?

Really looking forward to this!

N86 owners can expect a v30 firmware update made available towards the end of next week if not earlier. Thanks to Damian Dinning for the good news! 😊

He confirmed it on his Twitter page and mentioned update would be 'No new features to cam. Mainly maintenance in multiple areas plus latest maps and Ovi related releases incl sharing location' and 'There are some improvements in messaging'. That was all the info he gave so far.

I'm slighty disappointed, i somewhat thought with it being a v30 (a reasonably big update i imagine?) there would be new features added to the camera/phone but it doesn't look like it. According to Damian however i clearly remember him saying v21 was mainly a 'maintenance release' - bug fixes and improvents etc, no new features. I get the distinct feeling this upcoming v30 could be the same.....

All things said i'm very impressed with regular FW updates for this phone! Definetely looking forward to the update!
