Next Gen Hors D'oeuvre 7: Super Miners
What is it?
Super Miners is a modern overhaul of the traditional boulders-and-jewels genre pioneered by the Boulder Dash and Repton series.
It has 100 levels full of earth to dig through, diamonds to collect, rocks to push and baddies to avoid.
Added to the usual gameplay are special items such as bombs and teleports.
Why should I get it?
It's an award-winning very playable game, which also looks good thanks to Infinite Dreams usual attention to detail (they're the people behind K-Rally and the very beautiful upcoming Next Gen N-Gage game Hooked On: Creatures Of The Deep).
Earlier versions of Super Miners had quite a restricted view of the playing area, but the S60 3rd Edition version (the one that runs on Next Gen N-Gage phones) makes full use of high resolution QVGA graphics that let you see your surroundings much more clearly. This makes the game more fun to play as it helps you plan your strategy more carefully.

To install Super Miners, buy and download the Super Miners SIS file from the link above, then connect your phone to your computer by USB cable or Bluetooth and use the Nokia PC Suite's application installer program. If you don't have Nokia PC Suite installed on your PC, it's a really good idea to get it, as it lets you do lots of cool stuff with your phone. You can download the latest version from the Nokia PC Suite page.
