The Journey is not so much a game as a free demonstration of a new concept: real life location-based gaming. To move to new locations in the game, you have to physically move around in real life. It doesn't require GPS, it works by remembering which phone masts you're near, and assigns each mast a location in the game.

What is it?

An innovative, award-winning and free adventure game which detects where you are in real life without the need for GPS. Each phone cell you pass through becomes a location in the game, and to travel from one place to another in the game you have to travel in real life.

Depending on where you live, journeys between game locations should require between 50 and several hundred metres of real life travel.

Why should I get it?

It's totally free, it's totally unique and it's something you just have to try at least once. You don't need GPS, it works on any Next Gen N-Gage phone.

To install The Journey, download the S60 3rd Edition SIS file from the link above, then connect your phone to your computer by USB cable or Bluetooth and use the Nokia PC Suite's application installer program. If you don't have Nokia PC Suite installed on your PC, it's a really good idea to get it, as it lets you do lots of cool stuff with your phone.
