Which original gen N-Gage games deserve a second chance?

Published by at

Contrary to popular belief, the original generation of N-Gage had many great games, but unfortunately almost all of them were released in 2004 and 2005, after most of the gaming world started ignoring the system in 2003. Now that the Next Generation of N-Gage is here, perhaps there's a chance to give some of these wonderful "lost" games another chance.

We've set up a couple of polls on our Next Gen N-Gage Forum so you can let us know which classic N-Gage games ought to be given either a port or a sequel on the Next Gen N-Gage platform.

Some games have already received ports or sequels (Mile High Pinball, One, System Rush, Snakes, FIFA, Sims) but most haven't, and now is your chance to let the world know which games deserve the much wider audience that the Next Gen platform will bring.

The first poll is of First Party games published by Nokia themselves:

Which First Party classic N-Gage game should get a port or sequel on Next Gen N-Gage?

The second poll is of Third Party games:

Which Third Party classic N-Gage game should get a port or sequel on Next Gen N-Gage?

We've divided it up into two because First Party games are a lot more likely to get Nokia's attention, Nokia own all the rights to these games and can make sequels or ports any time they want to.

Third Party games are less likely to make it to the Next Gen, at least at the moment, but you never know. Also, it seems that some Third Party games were made with the heavy involvement of Nokia staff, so the company might have some influence over whether they get a Next Gen port or sequel.
