All N-Gage compatible phones can have third party S60 3rd Edition applications installed on them, including emulators of older games systems. iNES lets you turn your Next Gen N-Gage phone into a NES / Famicom console from the 1980s, and some models (Nokia N93, N93i, N95, N95 8GB) even let you play the games through a television set. iNES also supports multiplayer networked play.

What is it?

An emulator application which lets you run games from the NES / Famicom console on your N-Gage compatible phone.

Why should I get it?

It's a doorway back to the 1980s, when games were generally simpler, but perhaps more addictive and easier to pick up and play. If you remember this console from the first time round, S60 emulation is a great way of trying these games out again on the move (and if you have a phone with TV Out, through your television too).

As well as running the games in normal mode, you can also play networked multiplayer games with other N-Gage compatible phones running iNES.

To install iNES, buy and download the iNES S60 3rd Edition SIS file from the link above, then connect your phone to your computer by USB cable or Bluetooth and use the Nokia PC Suite's application installer program.
