How to get Snowed In 6
To get Snowed In 6 for free, you have to download it and register it before the 15th of January 2008.
1. Download the game from this page (choose the 240x320 version if you want to play it vertically, or 320x240 if you want to play it horizontally).
2. Connect your phone to your computer by USB cable or Bluetooth and use the Nokia PC Suite's application installer to install the Snowed In 6 SIS file on your phone. If you don't already have Nokia PC Suite on your PC, you can download the latest version from the Nokia PC Suite page.
3. Register your copy of Snowed In 6 on this page. The only personal detail they ask for is an email address, and if you're concerned about privacy you can create a throwaway account at Gmail or Yahoo Mail.
Remember, you have to register your copy of the game before the 15th of January 2008 if you want it for free.
Some gameplay hints
- The "timed" mode isn't really timed, it just has a steadily decreasing energy bar which can be topped up by making lines.
- You can swap tiles horizontally, vertically AND diagonally. The diagonal swapping may be tricky on some direction pads, but it should work if you quickly move it horizontally and then vertically.
- The grinches appear more and more as you progress to higher levels, they stop you making any use of tiles that they currently cover, which can be extremely frustrating!
- The penguins can only be got rid of by clearing the area below them until they fall through the bottom of the screen.
