- The first proposal accepted by Nokia is to stop anonymous voting on the Uservoice site, as it was clearly being used to manipulate different suggestions. Well done to regular All About N-Gage reader Tetlee who suggested this one.
- The second is to translate N-Gage games into Russian. This does actually make a lot of sense, as the Russian mobile phone market is very large, and there are many Russian fansites for N-Gage and Nokia.
- The third suggestion accepted is that N-Gage should use 3D graphics chips if the phone has one. Nokia had already talked about such support coming in the future, and they have confirmed this quite specifically on the Uservoice site:
"Thanks for the suggestion guys, just to let you know (3D hardware support) will be in the next release of the N-Gage SDK so game developers will be able to take full advantage then. This also includes OpenGL."
...so no support right now, but it will be there in the next N-Gage development kit release.
If Nokia can keep up a steady stream of official responses like this, it should do wonders for N-Gage's relations with its fans, which have been rather strained lately to say the least.
